Nice cord! Yes, how long is it?

I'd like to know how long the cord is as well. If the assumption is to plug it into the keyboard (which, admittedly, is ideal) then be aware that some systems do not deliver enough power to peripherals over USB for this to be possible.

I've got one of the older style PTs with the straight cable and it's long enough to reach around the back side of my computer. Not sure this one will.

Will there be an option for straight vs. coiled?

Is this what you are sending out to replace the dead ones now? My original PT stopped working the first week I got it and the freebie auto that was sent lasted 2 but I figured there was no use asking for a replacement when they all suffered from the same fatal flaws.

Would be happy to pay the difference to get it replaced with a better model instead though. You guys need to make money to stay in business and all ;)

So if you need at least 1000ma then how can you use it just plugged into the PC USB port which is only 500 ma?

If I want to use my auto PT plugged into the PC can I leave it plugged in? In other words I don't have to unplug it and then plug it back in every time I want to take a hit do I?

What, if any are the advantages of a manual PT versus an auto PT ?

Thank you!

500ma is the minimum required to meet USB 2.0 standards, but almost all newer computers will provide 1000ma or more.

No. You should always unplug a PT that is not in use, just like the label says in the package it came in. It is possible for a PT to fail in an "always on" manner and burn up the carto and possibly start a fire.

A manual won't get ruined by an overfilled (and thus leaking) carto. Other than that, it's just personal preference.

Nice job on the new PT! Looks awesome and I'll be ordering 1 or 3 on my next go round for certain!

I need one with a 25' cord so I can stretch it into the living room.

Just string 3 of these together
