Bristow, Ok.
I was at a party yesterday full of non smokers and just dident ust the ecig that much. I took two puffs in 8 hours and dident even feel that I needed it. If I was still on analogs that would have been at least 6-8 cigs. Dose anybody else notice that they dont jones for the ecig as they did for the analog...

I have noticed that. I vape a lot. It isn't so much need as I like it now. That is very nice.

I still go outside with the smokers at work sometimes, and I have noticed that I usually only take a few puffs on my e-cig - by comparison, it now seems to take forever for them to finish their regular cigs. I also used to have 2 cigs on my way to the office - now I tend to only take a few puffs of my e-cig.

I still get the urge and have to take vaping breaks but the urge is completely different. For lack of a better term, it is a less "toxic" urge. When I smoked very heavily, the urge would generate from the center of my chest as if my lungs needed to cover back up any centimeter where the tar fell off. Now the urge comes from my mouth and is much less intense. I was an extremely heavy smoker and that's why I attribute why I got a "lung" craving where other smokers did not.

Despite being an extremely heavy smoker, day 1 with e-cig, I stopped analogs completely, over a month tobacco free now. You wouldn't believe how much better I breath now.:)

I agree with all of you.

Vaping seems able to replace smoking, AND replaces the intensity to smoke with a much less intense 'wish' to vape. (My opinion).

I think I'm a little different on this one. I don't think I could go 8 hours without vaping. Certainly never tried. I remember once a couple weeks ago, I inadvertently left the house without my e-cigs. We were gone a couple hours, and actually, I was fine. Wasn't pulling my hair out or anything. BUT ... If I have it with me ... I use it .... a lot.

In fact, I carry 4 e-cigs at all times ... each loaded with a different flavor. This allows me to vape continuously without worrying about over-heating an atty.

And maybe it is more a "choice" rather than a "need", But I'm a heavy vaper and I am not unhappy with that.
