Hello everyone,
here's my question: i'm not trying to get all fancy, make huge amounts of vapor, etc. i just don't want to blow myself up. So i saw rip trippers video on rebuilding aspire bdc coils and it seems simple enough. i only use bdc coils so i thought i'd try my hand at it. the problem is i don't have one of those fancy thingamajigs to test the resistance. on his video he wrapped the wire 5 times and he got 1.4ohm resistance. so if i do exactly what he does but wrap it six times or even seven (to be on the safe side) i should be fine with that correct? my battery is just a run of the mill spinner 650mah that i keep at about 3.7v - anything higher than that usually tastes weird to me.
before i tried messing with any of this i read up quite a bit and ran into something about sub-ohm vaping and i just want to make sure i don't run the risk of blowing my self to kingdom come.
like i said, don't want to get all fancy, just thought it would be more cost effective to replace coil myself. (or run the risk of running out of coils and having to either pay six dollars for a single coil head at a local b&m or wait for days while i order new ones)
thanks for any help in advance!
edit: current coils are 1.8 ohm
