Yep and you can forget getting any kind of customer service. That'll never happen with usps.
The second gaming PC I built and sold in the course of a new business venture was destroyed by the USPS on its way to my customer back in 2008. Looked like it had been dropped from a helicopter.

Thankfully, I had it insured for the full value (just over $2k). My customer was very restrained, in my opinion. Not me so much. Even though a damaged/destroyed parcel is usually considered a matter for the recipient, I told him I was on the case, and then spent the next week-and-a-half leaning on the USPS.

They came through in the end and sent a check for the full amount of the system to my customer, but I honestly believe that if I wasn't on them about it every day, they'd have taken their sweet time. He might not have gotten paid for months.

And yes, their customer service is poor-to-nonexistent. I had to step in and "become" their customer service dept. for my customer. And needless to say, I never again shipped one of my systems via USPS.

Customer Service? Is that what you call 27 mins on hold listening to their inane chatter and blaring muzak? And then some idjit who doesn't seem to realize that Charlotte, NC, is NOT "on the way" to GA from MI? It's not even anywhere close!

2 of our 3 various mail carriers can't even manage to close the mailbox, they just leave it hanging open. Which might not be a big deal in a law-abiding neighborhood, but around here, if it's not red hot or nailed down, it's considered to be fair game.

Try shipping fertile eggs, day old chicks, peafowl, and poultry/waterfowl! Did that for about 10 years. One shipment of emu eggs I sent to Washington ended up at the military base after Hazmat was called when their local PO punted the box around. Always sent next day air, priority, with double the insurance.
My local PO is very, very cool! But it's those major hubs that get careless. JMO.

This isn't technically about the Expected Delivery Date, but it does effect it, so I figured I'd post this here instead of starting a new thread...

Apparently Halo's same day shipping policy just means that they print out the damn shipping label the same day! This has happened twice now, this last one I placed the order at 11pm last night (Friday), expecting it to be shipped this morning, because then it would arrive Monday (or Tues at the latest). Of course once again all the tracking info says is "Electronic Shipping Info Received".

It's kind of ridiculous that they advertise that they ship things the same day if you order before 11:30am Saturdays, but all they really do is print out the label the same day, and then just ship it out Monday!

Anyways, I ordered 37mL of Turkish Tobacco and was hoping it would get here by Monday/Tuesday, and I needed to vent when I realized it wasn't even shipped today. Oh and if you are curious the main reason I got the extra 7mL was so I'd get the 100pts (because of the 20% discount).

I'm ...... as all hell right now. USPS Priority was supposed deliver to me yesterday but got delivered to the wrong address! My anxiety is gnarly right now, rare mods and a lot of money are on the line.

Try this one on for size... long story short, My vapin donuts were sent to my previous address and when I contacted the post office they confirmed that was delivered there, but have gone missing.... the new tenant swears that he didn't take them (it was in his parcel box and he has the key) so now the local authorities have to be involved and this guy is looking at jail time for a little over 18 bucks, but the sad part is I never got to try vapin donuts :(

My packages didn't start turning up missing or delayed until I began vaping.
Lost count of how many times I had to call USPS. At one point it got SO bad that I was getting follow up calls from them & you know they never call back when they say they will.

This went on for 2 months. Seems a glitch in *their* system caused my address to move itself to another location. :?:

Oddly enough they never lost my bills!

Sent from a BIG phone.....Galaxy Note 3

Had some juice that was supposed to be coming in the mail today with today's delivery date and didn't show up.

On the flip side of this it's always fantastic when something shows up a day earlier or Saturday when it should come by Monday.

This has only happened a few times, but was looking forward to getting my juice today though. It never showed out for delivery, but sometimes it will miss a scan. Ahlusion mocha is what I was wanting to try....the other juice I still have some in my rotation.

I had a Tobeco Kayfun that was supposed to be here today (Sat) but arrived on Friday. I know I shouldn't get so excited about that kinda thing but I did lol

Well here's some news that warmed my heart. Today I ordered a Sigelei Zmax v3 telescopic flat-top, and a Hypertank 2, from Desert Vapes. It was 4:30pm my time, so I figured, Monday shipping. But, they're in Arizona, which has no daylight savings time... so they're 3 hrs behind my time -- that pkg shipped 30 minutes after I ordered it, and 4 hrs later, had already cleared and processed out of the sort facility in Phoenix!

I'm completely amazed. Let's see if USPS can mess this one up.

I had a packaged supposedly delivered on Tuesday. Sent the delivered text to my phone and everything. Got home, no mail. Called the office, they tell me to call the office closer to me which closed a couple hours before. So i call them up Wednesday morning, their computers don't fire up until 9am, so they have to call me back. They actually call back, only one dude working that day, have to give him props. Give him tracking number, says he's going to look into it and get a hold of the driver and all that. I get home Wednesday night and bingo! There it is in my mailbox. Someone wrote in big letters the name of my street on the envelope. Looks like the driver dropped it off at a house with the same 4 digits but maybe a block or 2 over from my street. I'm just thankful that it was only $25 bucks worth of juice and not a computer or something of value. I'm sure I would have never seen it then. I did have a different package shipped by them a week or 2 prior. Said it expected delivery on a Tuesday, then updated to Wednesday, then updated again and finally delivered on Thursday.

I was really hoping to get my first 2 RBAs today, based upon them hitting Chicago on Monday from China. Maybe tomorrow USPS will come through.

I'm waiting on a KFL+ clone and a Trident clone. I've been researching, reading up and watching every coil building video to be ready when they get here. This morning, I was excited until I pulled out my drill bits and was aghast when I saw how TINY a 1/16" really is. My first thought was: "I'm supposed to build a microcoil that small and then thread COTTON through it????" :(
