The wood mods I use a little scotch tape here and there to keep the door even and smooth. I live in such a dry climate it affects the wood. But for the metals I just slide them down to the top of the squonk hole and push the bottom backwards. Just a very slight bend that is not even noticeable will stop all rattling.

Yeah mine doesn't rattle unless you tap on it, which is nice if you like drumming on stuff as much as I do. :D The Reo makes a good snare drum when I'm tapping away to my favorite tunes on my table or lap. :D They are dead silent when I shake my mod though so I know they won't make good rattles or maracas.

You can try bending it as Rob suggested. You might lose that nice metallic swoosh sound when you open up the door or it might make it more difficult to slide the door in and out with one hand when you're bored (another one of my habits).

My wood swells. Sometimes I can't even get my door off. Lol dn crazy NYC weather. A little time next to an air register gets them sliding smooth again

I have had to lightly sand my woodvil doors here in SC. Just do it a little and keep the angle correct.
