Your body will tell you in short order if you're over doing it. If that happens, put down your PV for a while and know that when you go back to it, you have to either vape your current juice a bit less or change to a lower level of nicotine. There is no more or less when trying to compare vaping to cigarette use. They are as different as night and day. There is only what you are doing now and that's vaping.

The average person vapes between 2-5 ml per day depending on their vaping style and pv. If you vaped 4 ml per day, that'd be 28 ml a week. You're on the low side.

Worry about first getting off cigarettes completely. You might have to vape your head off to do that, as another member said. After that, slowly lower your nicotine strength if you chose to.

Was smoking a pack to pack and half of newport full flavor 100's. Gone threw about 12ml of 30 mg juice in a week. Plan on dropping dosage down too 24mg when I get my nic juice. Did I just up my nic intake this week compared to analogs, or am a doing ok. Just Do not want to wind up more addicted to nic.

Thanks in advance.

I think the advantages of giving up analogs are enormous. I am vaping my head off and not measuring. I have read the threads and if you get a headache, put it down. None of us are going to have standard amounts or doses, esp. for the first month or two.

12 ml of 30mg= 360 mg per week or 51.3mg per day
If you vape 1.7 ml per day your mg per ml of ejuice is exactly what you are vapeing (30 mg).
If you don't know what the mg per cigarette was that you used to smoke go here: Erowid Tobacco Vault : Nicotine Content #4

This should help you determine how many mg of nicotine per cigarette you used to get from smoking your brand. Then compare the two.

Cigarettes and vaping doesn't directly compare. You can't say for sure that this many ml of ejuice = that many cigarettes.

Most of the nicotine in ejuice is not absorbed and is essentially wasted and the percentage is so dependent on vaping style that its basically impossible to measure.

It doesn't sound like you're overdoing it, and as long as you're comfortable with how you're vaping it doesn't matter. Like others have said, listen to your body. If you're constantly sucking the crap out of your ecig, up your mg level, if you're getting dizzy, lower it.
12 ml of 30mg or even 30ml of 12 mg per week isn't exactly hardcore.

Lots of good comments here and I think most of them boil down to this: pay attention to what your body is telling you. I'm still experimenting myself and for the past few days have been vaping almost exclusively about 3.5%nic, and quite a bit of it. I mix my own juice and had been mixing low-nic (1.2% or so) for chain-vaping, and 1.8 - 2.4 for out & about use, only using the high-test in the mornings. BUT I also had not entirely quit the analogs, still smoking 4 - 7 of those a day, and I decided as of Valentine's day I won't be smoking them anymore. No particular reason for this; I didn't start vaping to quit smoking exactly, it's just working out that way & I'm grateful for it. I'm feeling much better, breathing better, and now my body is telling me to quit smoking. So yesterday I went all day without one & didn't miss it at all. Had one to celebrate as I got ready for bed & didn't especially enjoy it. Looks to me like my cigarette addiction has pretty well kicked itself, though the same cannot be said for my nicotine addiction, but I'm okay with that. At least for now. Happy Vaping! :toast:
