well, my dad listened to that old timey country music (and i have come to enjoy it myself), and back in the day in the world of country and western, thats what they used to call it, songs were passed around like a collection in church.
i can still remember when a musician my dad liked would come up in conversation he'd put on an over exaggerated hill-billy accent and say
"yepum, he be real good can play both kinds of music country and western"
And you did notice there is a guitar lesson there too???
