Here's a one-off recording of Les Paul, Chet Atkins and Django Reinhardt playing "LIMEHOUSE BLUES" about 1956 or '57. I've been told several times that Django never played with those two, but if you're familiar with them you can clearly distinguish all three guitarists' styles.

I adore these Django Reinhardt songs you're playing.

Thanks, BB!! I know God intended that Django has an active legacy among jazz guitarists. His partner, Stephane Grappelli, outlived him by 40 years or so, performing regularly until he was an old, old man. Here is Stephane Grappelli doing a song I posted on another of ECF's great music forums (fora. forii. whatever.) The Yoda of jazz violin, long after Django had become immortal. In this video, SG is more than 50 years older than the other two musicians.
