So first off I love Dr. Crimmys because you can order large bottles up to 120ml for a very good price. SOD (Strawberry Over Dose) is my favorite liquid of all time. I also like their beetle juice and apple pie ala mode. The apple pie ala mode tastes like a literally pie, buttery and cinnamon. Great cost for their flavors and the amount you get. However, I have noticed recently that while dripping their juice (70/30) and exhaling through my nose a lot of water vapor has been dripping out of my nose. Not just a couple drops, its like I have a runny nose. Now, i have done research and I was under the impression that VG is supposed to be a thicker consistency than PG. The thing is I bought a 60/40 blend at my local B&M and it is much thicker than my dr. crimmys 70/30. Is it possible they have been watering down their juice? I don't mean to bring them down because they are a great company for how good their juices are for their prices. However, I would also like to know that I'm getting what I pay for. Anyone else had a similar experience, I'd love to hear.

Perhaps they use saline to thin the VG? High VG can be pretty thick and difficult to wick on tanks. A lot of people who make their own juice use saline not only to thin VG but also add some "salt" to the recipe. Nothing wrong with it and some report excellent results. It's not really a matter of "watering down" the juice, like a watered down drink at a bar, but more a manner of mixing and may have something to do with the reason you like their flavors to begin with.

And..could totally not be that..just a thought.

Thanks for your input. I'm really not trying to discredit them, I'm just trying to find reasons to prove me wrong. So at least you just gave me one. If you haven't you should check them out. I just got 360ml of juice for $80!

Thanks :) If I ever get bored with DIY, I'll give them a look. And like I said, could totally not even be that, but I'd venture a guess that it might be, given what you describe. Might also be that you've developed a PG allergy and are getting a runny nose. Do your other juices make your nose run?

I can't vape Zeus Juice. The ones I tried were nice, but they make me sneeze uncontrollably. No idea why.

I love Dr. Crimmy's stuff.

It is 30 bucks for a 125 Ml bottle. And I was a skeptic at first. But I pulled the trigger on an Strawberry Overdose, and was shocked at the quality.
I was half expecting a Mt. Baker style chemical cocktail that would be disgusting - but much to my surprise, it tasted like the higher end expensive stuff (Suicide Bunny) that I was looking for a lower cost alternative to.

Now I have more on the way. I'm a Dr. Crimmy guy now for sure.

They're great. I got a solid response from the owner today as to an explanation to why my nose runs like a hose after dripping. He said the only PG he uses is in the flavoring so I'm still stumped but whatever.

Soooo..what does he use to thin it with? Has to be something if it's thinner than your 60/40. VG on its own is *almost* (not quite) as thick as caro syrup. The choices for thinning are generally PGA (pure grain alcohol aka Everclear), distilled water, or saline solution. Now, with that said, this is in no way "watering down" a juice..just making it into something with a consistency that those who use tanks can actually vape.

It could also be that whatever flavorings he uses make your nose run. I can pretty much promise you he isn't going to tell you which those might be ;)
