So just as I get the full blow Provari bug (and buy one) i decided to get another bug, the all mechanical, hardcore I wanna last zombie apocalypse bug...

I want to get into rba's and get a decent mechanical MOD so I can have it just for the sake of playing with rba's and not worry about having electronics.

I came across the "draw tube" Mechanical mod from discount vapers. I am wondering if someone could give me some insight on this device. I really like the idea of a telescoping MOD and like the looks of this one. Anyone know much about it? what do you think about it paired with a Phoenix or other beginner style rba?

Just my :2c:, but thinking that you might prefer using your RBAs on your ProVari v.s. a mechanical mod with no safety features at all. I’m fairly new to the RBA scene so no expert, but I gather there is a very real concern that sometimes the coils in RBAs can be sensed as a dead-short. I ohm mine out every fill to ensure nothing got wonkey and there's a good circuit, but even still will only use them on my ProVari. If you really like mechanicals, maybe look at getting a Kick with it. It's an adjustable regulated wattage devise that adds short circuit protection for your RBAs. Good luck.

VaporBeast is selling it. And at a whopping $75!!!

They do offer free shipping, if that's any condolence. Discount Vapers price was about $44

I guess exclusivity has its price.

It might be Vaporbeast since they are selling it. I thought Discountvapers price was a little high but after seeing Vaporbeast price on this item, I was like :?:

Putting a Kick in mechanical mod is like putting a govenor on your vehicle. Yes it is safe, but no fun to drive! If you are builing coils below 1.3 or 1.4 ohms all you will get out of a ProVari is ERROR. If you want regulated voltage/wattage, just buy a Vamo... same price if not cheaper than a Kick and can go up to 15 watts. To each his own...my 2 cents.

Its a GG clone and although cheap enough I don't think you can compare the performance of a cheaply made mechanical mod to a well made one. The connections need to be machined well because they are passing current threw them. As far as a kick if you are using a cart, atty or something of that nature they are great for that. I use a standard Atty 18500 and a kick in my GG a lot Great flavor and Vapor Ill attach a picture to prove it. I would suggest getting a GG there are always used ones in the classys or an Electric Angle. Or any number of well made mechanical mods. They cost 3x more but you get 10x the quality.

i just got it in the mail. seems ok.i only ordered online because my local vape shop had it for 80$

i know it says it can go to 6v but how do you achieve this? its mechanical and ive never used one before. cant figure out how to adjust volts

Its a decent mod. I love the body and the caps. Im going to replace the switch though. That switch is lacking and the weakest link in the entire mod in regards to conductivity. The segelei mech telescope(flat top) is a better mod at the same price point. Much steadier conductivity.

You can stack batteries(18350), but thats more than 6v.

You can use a kick.

A can

A crown

Specialty batteries can do 5 or 6v also.
