Yep, PDIB said on the SLs the pin needs to come out a little bit more and he would do that for anyone who orders a Nuppin for an SL, or they can adjust out. Can't wait to get a nuppin myself with one of your stellar sleeves.

All matched sets will be on sale thru Christmas!

Including this new one. Pic doesn't do it justice but it cold, dark & rainy outside so I can't get a better one til I have better light. I think you'll get the idea though.

This one and others will hit the website in the next couple days, but may not ship until the end of this coming week, in order for them to safely cure.

Oooo.....pretty! Wondering how it would look on my metallic red REO? ;-) Have her dressed up in brass atm. Are you going to put this one up on the site Mark?

I will, just noticed an imperfection I will treat before posting though.

I do t think this one will match a red Reo, it is more pink, magenta, & purple than red. I do have a red one almost done though that will be up very soon :)

That combo looks real nice on the polished TRA but I can't help but think that set up would simply be ba'dassed on a white one though.

I've got a question for you all, and would love your feedback.

I have been thinking about doing "Preorders". And by that, I mean listing a mod for sale as a "Preorder", only once I have it in my possession, but before I've done any patina on it. This would allow a person to see it and say, "ya, I'd like that kind of mod with a patina, and would like it to look like _____." I have quite a few mods and a couple rdas I've haven't done anything with yet. I've always just sat on it until it's finished and then posted.

Thoughts?

It only gets a little complicated in that part of what I charge for a piece is also based on the materials and time a certain piece takes to do; but a big factor is really the cost of acquiring the mod to begin with. I think I would err on the side of charging for a complex patina, so I wouldn't have to go back to a customer and demand more $, that would be hard for me. I think, even if the patina isn't the most complex, the extra $5-20 a complex one would cost is worth it for the right to reserve a mod in advance and choose its finish.

Please feel free to respond on the thread, I wouldn't be opposed to this turning into a longer conversation.

Happy Sunday, thanks y'all :)

I don't know Mark but, I'm extremely happy with the Turtle Ship clone I sent you. Maybe it would be better to let the customer purchase the mod they wish to have patina'd (as I did which as one that was actually PIF'd from a friend) in either copper or brass and simply send it to you. This way you can concentrate on what is that you do best and keep your overhead down. On the other hand, I thoroughly enjoy what may pop up next when you simply put them out there the way you do.

Just a couple of cents my brother......
