If your talking about the Nuppin', you may have to adjust the center pin outwards from the base of the 510 a bit.

Congratulations on getting that up and running Mark! It's looking great!
Oooo.....pretty! Wondering how it would look on my metallic red REO? ;-) Have her dressed up in brass atm. Are you going to put this one up on the site Mark? All matched sets will be on sale thru Christmas!
Including this new one. Pic doesn't do it justice but it cold, dark & rainy outside so I can't get a better one til I have better light. I think you'll get the idea though.

I will, just noticed an imperfection I will treat before posting though.
I do t think this one will match a red Reo, it is more pink, magenta, & purple than red. I do have a red one almost done though that will be up very soon

I managed to murder my AFC. I was not gentle with it. Will probably send it back for refurb.
I've got a question for you all, and would love your feedback.
I have been thinking about doing "Preorders". And by that, I mean listing a mod for sale as a "Preorder", only once I have it in my possession, but before I've done any patina on it. This would allow a person to see it and say, "ya, I'd like that kind of mod with a patina, and would like it to look like _____." I have quite a few mods and a couple rdas I've haven't done anything with yet. I've always just sat on it until it's finished and then posted.
Thoughts?
It only gets a little complicated in that part of what I charge for a piece is also based on the materials and time a certain piece takes to do; but a big factor is really the cost of acquiring the mod to begin with. I think I would err on the side of charging for a complex patina, so I wouldn't have to go back to a customer and demand more $, that would be hard for me. I think, even if the patina isn't the most complex, the extra $5-20 a complex one would cost is worth it for the right to reserve a mod in advance and choose its finish.
Please feel free to respond on the thread, I wouldn't be opposed to this turning into a longer conversation.
Happy Sunday, thanks y'all![]()
