Dream atty dry hits

Just got in a dream atty and I'm experiencing occasional dry hit.. Anyone having the same experience and how should I fix it?

I've heard that the rolled springs on those are wrapped too tight, what are you using in it, the ones already rolled or your own wick and wire?

Have you tried adjusting the airflow or moving the coil position?

I'm using my own organic cotton and 32 kantal. It seems like the air holes on the housing are a bit too small for proper wicking.

Yea I thought about it but im not sure if flooding will become an issue..

I am vaping one of mine right now. I love them, and really never have a dry hit, in fact the only problem I have with them is they all (I have 3) like to leak out the air hole. I just posted this problem in that thread and hope to have a solution to my problem soon. With the vapor production and flavor (with cotton yarn wick and cotton shoved inside bottom to catch leaky juice), my Kanger Protank is back to sitting on the end table!

Edit: Did you remove the wick from the channels into the tank and wrap them around the base? I never even tried one of them as it was set up from the factory.
