lols sounds like you're looking for a Little Sister

Box Mods

cheap, small and powerful, i just ordered mine 4 days ago

I've looked at the Little Sister, and I'm thinking about ordering one but I'm still on the fence.

The only thing holding me back is I've never been a fan of box mods. I want that sexy look to go with the adjustable voltage.

Vanity is so lame.

We do have something in the works but it is not a tube design more box like with VV ( vari volt ) Juice feed and Usb charger 1 x 18650 batts etc. all in one design custom designed and built , not an enclosure from whatever modded to be a PV .

That sounds pretty sweet :)

What would be really cool is if someone could make a nice looking mod for around the same price as a box mod. I simply can't afford to be spending over $100 what's effectively just a pretty battery when I am constantly replacing attys, cartos, and trying new liquids. If hadn't started my mod journey with box mods, I'd be flat broke by now. Obviously not as pretty, but that's not a factor for me as I'm in the military, and no one really cares, they all make fun of just the same.

The problem is the enclosure price and the electronics ( If you make them ) this is what makes a custom mod cost more than one made from an off the shelf enclosure .
The control electronics ( If they are part of the mod ) that are made correctly cost $ if they are just thrown in the box then that is cheap.

honestly though the reason why i bought the little sister is cuz it doesn't look like a box mod, it looks like a lighter, if it was just a small dinky box that looked like something you'd find in a computer I would've said "pass" but it actually has some styling and curves here and there, it not louis vuitton but its not home depot either. plus of course it has great features

Buzzkill, I want to make sure you know that I wasn't criticizing the Buzz. As far as I'm concerned, you're a genius for what sounds like the greatest innovation we've seen so far. :D

I don't know the particulars about what source different mods use as their enclosure (except the screwdriver) but is there any reason (like something technical since I haven't a clue about electronics/batteries/etc.) that there couldn't be a slimmer model w/adjustable voltage.

I only mentioned the GG Super Slim because it uses 10440 batteries.

I read where you were developing a voltage regulator that could be added to any mod. Is that something we'll be seeing soon?

Maybe that's the thing I need for that dream mod.

Part of the reason that mods are so expensive is that they're pretty much a 1 time sale. Once you have it, you just replace the batteries. The manufacturers of them can't make volume sales, so they have to rely on one time higher price sales to make anything. Plus they really do take time to make right.
