Maybe I've misjudged HF but I always thought the quality of tools from them was like going to big lots or walmart. Granted I worked in the trades and am a bit of a tool snob, but I will have to check them out again next time I see one. The 10 buck dremel can't be beat, and they have to other rotary set up cheaper.

If I worked a job where I used tools every day, I would not depend on Harbor Freight tools. For occasional use, they're OK.
When you buy stuff at HF you have to be sure to check it out before you buy. Some things are good, others not so good. If I was looking for a Dremel type tool to make a few boxmods I wouldn't worry too much about the quality. If I was building them for a living and had to use it every day I'd spend the extra bucks on a top quality unit.
Actually, Before I saw some of the latter posts I was able to snag a new Dremel w/storage box & accessories at a storage facility sale for $15.
Got a multimeter also!
Right now I plan on only making a few juice feeders so the tools I got should b fine for that.

Totally agree with you about being a tool snob... i am to, to an extent for the tools i use alot... but the stuff that i know i may only use once or twice... HF is half the price of home depot and lowes.
