I've been severely underwhelmed with the PT2 with all it's issues. Crap coil, gurgling, pinched airflow. I've fixed the gurgling to an extent by flipping a seal and rebuilding the coil and wick, I've also fixed part of the airflow problem by compressing and trimming the silicone seal at the 510 pin (these things are very poorly designed, one of the heads had zero airflow out of the box). Still it just didn't perform well, muted vapor and flavor production. This thing just didn't hold a candle to my Mini PT2, even when swapping the exact same 0.8 ohm coil head between the two tanks. In another thread people mentioned that it's due to the fact that the PT2 has poor airflow. I thought I'd fixed that by trimming the silicone sleeve but it just wasn't enough.
So I thought, let's make a bigger hole.
It's much much better now. Flavor isn't quite there, but I'm attributing that to having a different coil in it at the moment (1.4 ohm vs the 0.8 I have in the mini right now).
I have no idea what size bit I used, it was the smallest in the kit we have and they aren't labeled. No other tools needed, just held the base with one hand and drilled with the other. Boom, done. Drills very easy and only takes a couple seconds.
