I found vaping, instead of smoking, while drinking to be a craveless transition.
Part of the fun of vaping is discovering e-liquid flavors what are actually synergistic with various drinks. For instance, Mt. Baker Vapor's Lightning is wonderfully synergistic with inexpensive Ports, like Graham's Five-Grape Ruby. Just about any Key-lime-plus-menthol mixture (for instance, MadVapes' Key Lime Freeze) is marvellous with a good, single-barrel sipping rum. A straight lime flavor goes well with mass-market beer. And so it goes . . .
Various food-plus-drinks-plus-e-liquid flavors also produce fabulous synergies. I have a killer, Cincinnati-style, chili recipe. The chili, plus a good hoppy beer (like several Sam Adams or Goose Island varieties), plus Mt. Baker Vapor's White Out, are magnificent together. My wife looks at me like I'm crazy when I down chili, wash it down with beer and madly chain-vape, all at the same time. I'm in seventh heaven.
I do tend to chain-vape (even more than usual) when drinking. But since I backed off on the Vitamin N concentration, I don't get overdose symptoms no matter how hard I vape.
