I only vape by dripping. I've noticed that my atomizer life is much better when I drip more frequently. I had a bad habit about trying to smoke too much each time without redripping. Now I do 2-3 more drops (or) set it down for a while as soon as I start to notice the vapor decreasing and I think that is what is causing my atomizers to last longer. I can get 15 to 20 really good puffs from 3 drops, then I set it down and drip again next time I want to vape, or redrip if I want to keep going with it. Makes sense that dripping more often keeps the internal fabric from burning/getting hard and not absorbing as much liquid.

Dripping is usually refferred to as dripping into the atomizer. A few drops into the cart is known as toppping off.

I'm still trying to get the dripping more consistent with 901 atomizers. I usually end up flooding the things. It starts off fine but then vapour drops off then I get the hint of something that should be there, the weird taste. So 1 or 2 more drops and on we go. Seems fine but after this cycle a few times, it's hard to pull and vapor drops right off. Atomizer then heats up fast with no vapor. Clean em out and there fine the following day.

I find using a cart and topping off with 2-3 drops works better for me. Maybe I will have more success with dripping when I get a 4072/801.

I will keep practising though ;)

I allways drip 2 drops on to my automizer when i fill my cart .... I use the DSE901 as my main e-cig and i also use it when im at work where i demo it all the time ..... I real give my poor 901 a hard time ... But .... But .... I do think dripping is good for the automizer as i have only used 1 as a replacment in the last 4 month.

wow that's pretty good lifespan out of the atomizers. So, you always drip and use carts at the same time (2 drops and top off) ?

My brother and I both have penstyles. He drips on the atomizer and tops off the cart. He has been using the same atomizer for 3 weeks with never a cleaning. It is still going strong. He has also used the same cart for all that time with no cleaning or rinsing.

I do the same thing, and I have had to clean my atomizers. I have also had to replace my carts. I couldn't believe a 3 week old cart so I had him show me tonight. It was still clear colored after all that time; mine starts to turn brown after a day....can't imagine what it would look like after 3 weeks

He uses 11mg juice....I use 36. Any correlation?

Honestly, when i was trying to drip a 901, i had the exact same problems as you. I think maybe the heating coils don't reach deep into the atomizer and the juice collects there.

I have an rn4072 atomizer (w/ usb) i've been dripping all day and havent had any problems like that. In my opinion it's a lot easier to taste when you are smoking it dry on an rn4072, also.

I actually drip only, I don't even mess around with the carts anymore (tried 'em, didn't like 'em) on my 901. It has taken me some practice to know how much to use and when to refill, adn I have flooded it a couple of times, but I feel pretty comfortable with it now. The only really hard time is when I'm driving somewhere, because it's nearly impossible (and incredibly irresponsible) to try to drip while you're driving. Usually I'm lucky enough to hit a red light and do a quick 2-3 drips before it turns green again. :)

For me, when my atomizer floods, liquid starts coming out of the air hole, and it becomes nearly impossible to take a drag without getting liquid. If you've flooded it, you'll know, as there will be liquid on the outside of the unit. :)

As a side note, am I the only one who doesn't mind a small taste of the liquid, from inhaling too hard? I wouldn't want to drink the stuff straight or anything, but just the small hint of it is kinda nice. Am I wierd?

Yeah! That's it. 2-3 drops between red and green light by driving. He he!
When someone is dripping is hard to go back in carts.
I drip direct 3-4 drops in the 901's atomizer at home where i have a USB direct power and 2-3 drops when i am out.
I spend two Weeks without need to clean the atomizers but nevertheless i am cleaning them every two weeks.
I am using new or refiled carts when i am in a cafe or restaurant with other people only to avoid comments and discussions abut the procedure.
