Drip Shield question

Ok, 'nother noob question, but I'm curious. I LOVE the look of some of those drip shields out there, especially empire mods. Can a shield be used for cosmetic purposes over a cartomizer or will it interfere with function, or even attach?

Its not really intended for a cartomizer, it is more geared for leaking atomizers more specifically the 901. Check this out:

Empire Drip Shields and just read some of the info. As for the cosmetic purpose Im not 100% sure about the answer so I will let you email the expert on the site.

Yeah, I understand technically the purpose for using with atomizer when dripping....but do love the look!

Better plug the air holes in the drip shield if you do... or make sure to keep it upright!
