I am out of cartridges, not sure what juice or cartridges to buy next. Looking for the safest most trusted juice, anyway, I still have some e-tobacco road juice left, was wondering about drip smoking. That is when u put a drop or two right on the atomizer correct? I tried it and got a lot of vapor. Is this bad to do tho? Is it unsafe or bad for the machine?

regards

I have no idea if it is or not, I know it is a dse901 automatic. there is no manual switch or anything on it, so does that mean i shouldnt drip?
It just means you have to be a lot more careful.
Just don't put too many drops in because you don't want any getting to the battery.

If you have any of your empty cartridges left you can always refill them.
That might be a better option for you if you are worried about dripping.

i have the 901 and ive never had any problems with it getting into my battery. i put 2 drops on atty and also have the cart incase it gets low without me knowing.

most likely ur battery isnt sealed if its not a manual tho. dont really know how that would work.

as for juice ive been very pleased with shipping from nuvape, vapor country, and electronic ash. all coming in around 2 - 3 days

You can get blank cartridges for about a quarter each at Heaven Gifts (Ruyan Direct) but it will take awhile. You can get them in a whole lot of other places as well, although you'll have to pay at least a few bucks for 5 of them.

And your filling is probably getting sucked into your atomizer because you are twisting your cartridge, which causes the filling to get caught onto the metal bridge of the atomizer, and then when you pull the cartridge off it pulls the filling along with it.

Do not twist your cartridges once you have them in place.

If you are worried about which liquid is safe, you're like me. IMHO American made juice seems like a better option. Both Vermont Vapor - The Smoking Alternative and http://www.johnsoncreeksmokejuice.com/ make their own juice in the US and list their ingredients. I can't vouch for the companies as I am still waiting on my first orders from both. JC uses PG and reduced PG while vermont vapors uses VG but both say they don't contain Polyethylene glycol (the chemical the FDA is having a fit over) I can say JCs shipping time sucks, it's supposed to take 7-10 days for them to even process an order. I haven't dripped yet so I can't give advice there, but with all the hype I probably will when I get my new liquid.

BTW, people who drip: You still put an empty cart on anyway, right? Do you remove the poly fill to do so?

Dripping with the 901 never seemed to do well for me. When you drip, the flavor is better as is the vapor. But, the DSE901 tends to clog/flood much easier then any other model I've dripped with. It might be the single hole that's the issue and it's location. On a JOYE510 the holes are at the bottom and there's two of them. Some models are just better for dripping (JOY510, JOYE306, DSE103) mainly because of the hole locations, IMO.

When a battery just up and dies it's very often because of liquid getting in. Heavengifts (ruyandirect.com) does offer DSE901 and DSE801 manual batteries. They have a little button on the side and the hole in the battery is sealed. As long as you don't accidently break the hole in the seal with an ice pick, you won't get juice in the battery. Don't worry about the button though, it becomes second nature after about an hour.

Johnson Creek will have VG juice available once they get the new recipe to where they want it.
And the chemical that the FDA is concerned about is diethylene glycol, not polyethylene glycol.

I think most people remove the cartridge.
Some people leave the cartridge in and some even keep the filler in.

I not only remove the cartridge, but I also bore out the mouthpiece so the hole is way bigger.

Yes, you leave the cart on but remove the cup w/ stuffing to drip. Just put 2 drops on the atty, replace empty cart (mouth piece) and vape like you normally do. :)

Thanks, I'll try it when I get my new liquid.

Deadcat2- thanks, it was late and after a few cocktails and about 100 different pages of information I couldn't keep the names straight.
