I have used the Delrin tips, the transparent colored plastic ones(like the clear ones that come with the DCTs), and the stainless steel tips, and I prefer the delrin. Its more durable and doesnt get as hot as stainless. I broke a number of the transparent ones before giving up on them. I also personally prefer the Ming/Dynasty shaped tips. They just feel better to me. Kinda hard to explain. I have a new tip on the way though. I have never used this material or design before so we will see how that works out. Well, I have a delrin and an SS tip. Don't use either much. Mostly I just use the plastic carts (they catch condensation and excess and I never get juic-in-mouth problems). The carts work well on cartos too (CE2) since I don't drip with them.

However, if I use a drip tip, delrin is much better...metal gets too hot IMO. I haven't tried the glass... afraid of even the smallest chip being a problem (probably an unwarranted fear, but ....vaping glass stuff does not thrill me. Then again, I drink from a drinking glass and don't think twice...)

Small and dense glass is generally well made, handblown. more durable than any glass pipe i've ever owned.
i've dropped it drip tip downwards on my provari and it got scratched but no chips

It depends on what I have it on.

If it's on a 510 atty I'm dripping, I prefer delrin. I have a few delrin tips with larger bores than other tips so they're easy to drip through.

On an atty on my feeders or on just about any carto, I prefer ceramic. Both Avid and Empire sell the same black ceramic drip tip. It has a nice feel and resists heat very well.

I recently purchased a couple of blown glass 510 donut drip tips, and I could see myself getting to like such a thing, but unfortunately the ones I got don't actually fit my 510 stuff very well (or really at all). I'm looking forward to some trippy donuts being in stock soon.

I have some aluminum drip tips - I don't like them at all. I have some stainless steel tips that I also don't care for. And, I have some nickle plated copper tips that I do like but not on anything that will get them too hot. They work really well in conjunction with a delrin 306/510 drip tip adapter. It keeps them from getting hot and they have a big enough bore and smooth enough surface for dripping.

One thing I've noticed about deldrin dt's is that some have a larger hole than others. If the hole is too small the juice doesn't always flow down into the atty and gets stuck at the top. The first hit is a couple of drops of juice in your mouth if you aren't careful. I've got some that work great, and a couple that don't. Just something to consider when buying new dt's.
