But then I wouldn't be able to eat deep dish pizza while vaping and wouldn't be able to look at the tallest building in America out my window while doing so (and no, "spires" or "antennas" don't count, New York).

Yeah, and you can't get salami on your pizza here either, it seems to be illegal.

What other materials are drip tips made out of, and what kind of difference do they make? I'm also noticing that there is less airflow sneaking in from between the tip and the tank with the acrylic one, producing a harder vape (or it could be that the air hole is just smaller). I had this tip sitting around for a while because it looks so cheap, but it really does affect the quality of the vape.

(see above from jayvaps)

My two favorite drip tip materials right now are silicone and glass, but I do like the look of a well-done stainless steel drip tip.

I'm weird in that I seem to prefer certain drip tips on certain devices. Well, okay, I'm weird in other ways, too... :p

Honestly, I've seen drip tips made from just about anything that can be formed into the shape of a drip tip, from wood to titanium. Pretty sure the only limit is imagination.

Would that be a Connie's pizza?

Connie's is good. I think Jon Stewart would have a heart attack if presented with a slice of Gino's East though. Just got my two bottles of juice from Totally Wicked today so have something new to test out with my new drip tip (shameless attempt to keep on topic lol).

I am utterly loving these.

It may be my imagination, but the length and the stainless "seem" to give my vape an extra chance to cool and mellow before it makes it to my mouth.

I've gone off the cheap plasticy ones (like you normally get with the better cigalike 3 piece jobs). I think they might be delrin, but I'm not sure.

They didn't bother me at first, but then I got some steel ones with better atomisers, and now the plasticy ones feel strange. I don't like banging my teeth on the steel, but it doesn't happen often if I'm careful.

I've just gone on a buying spree, getting some wood, ceramic, jade and acrylic, for taking out and about with me - where I'm less likely to pay attention to not banging my teeth. Let's face in, in the overall cost breakdown of this habit, there's not really any excuse for not trying all of them... ;)

Review those when you've tried them out, please :) Curious about the jade. I've seen some stone ones I'm curious about.

I have a few real jade drip tips...some marble...some NICE blown glass....some stainless steel... some pyrex....I dislike aluminum and want to try a silicone one. I do have a few fun plastic ones but find them to look cheap

Currently my favs are a stainless rotatable on my VTR/Iclear30s and a hand blown glass...I cant wait to get the blown glass peacock I ordered

That would make my PV 8.5 inches long.
You make it sound like 9 inches is a bad thing. I was under the impression that on the Internet, that was something to brag about. :p

Yes, I confess. As soon as I read your post, I reached for the tape measure.

Why do I have one handy? No particular reason.

Don't judge me!

LOL, trust me, the 8.5 figure wasn't just off top of my head, I not only looked up your drip tip, found out its length, converted it to inches but also got out my OWN tape measure to measure my existing set up to come up with that figure. Why do I have a tape measure handy? That's for me to know and you to speculate.

Nice set up by the way and you have me beat by a half inch.
