drip with cartomizer

I thought I saw this once but now I can't find it. I just got my first drip tube, which is great for my Blu setup (4th tier, for social indoor use or in movies.) Most of my brands are cartomizers. Is there a way to use a drip tube with a cartomizer? Pull out the stuffing or something?

if you pull all the stuffing out then you are left with a wire with nothing to wick off of......im no expert but i would think that if the wire is submerged in liquid that it will have the same effect as if the cart was flooded.....

too me its alot easier to just use the drip tube......in the long run you arent saving any time or labor but transforming a carto into a drip tip.....

Looked into the new ce2 r4 carto, the coil sets right on top of the juice chamber in the middle, seems it would be good for dripping without any changes to the carto. Maybe it could be used for a two flavor system, one down in the carto and drip a second one.
