I drip at home 95% of the time, when driving I use a carto tank or my Vapage V-mod. One of these days I will try a Reo.

Dripping does become a ritual over time, with a nice fat drip tip with a wide mouth and a needle bottle it is easy to drip without a mess and you learn not to overfill with practice. My only issue with carto tanks is the flavor is somewhat muted.

The ritual is one of my favorite things about dripping. That and being able to change juices on the fly, which I do often. One thing about dripping most of the time is ya get pretty sensitive to noticing how other devices mute flavors. I like that I can taste every nuance the juice maker intended. When using cartos on the go I just stick to menthol or mint since they are good for mindless vaping and don't lose much in a carto.

using menthol juices on the go is a good idea. got any good recommendations?

I really enjoy Halo for their mint and menthol only flavors, faves at the moment being Kringles Curse (peppermint) and Mystic (combo of mints and menthols). Ahlusion Sleighride I'm sure will be up there, I have only smelled it since it's steeping but Ahlusion is always a winner to me. I also picked up some menthol crystals from RAWR to add to any juice.

Darn!! I love dripping. I was so hoping to find something that would come close to it when I'm not at home. Really don't like cartomizers-Ce3 clearomizer is ok, still not even close. I'm going to try kanger t3 next. I will have to look into the Reo too.

I haven't tried a Vivi Nova or T3 yet but have heard they do a pretty good job with only a slight muting of flavor. I also haven't tried a bottom feeder like a Reo but I can see that as a great option.

Once you learn how to drip I find it pretty damn satisfying and easy. It becomes a ritual more than a pain. There really is no pain once you learn your atomizer. Every atomizer BRAND is going to be widely different and each atomizer is going to be mildly different from another. You just have to learn how many drops to put in (as little amount as possible) and then what it tastes/feels like when its the puff b4 dry.

Atomizers are my favorite for flavor, which is whyyy I got a reo. You get to use an atomizer and you dont have to drip drip drip :p

Yes, dripping from the bottom does eliminate the nuisance values.

You just press the bottle for a few seconds (floods), when you realese the pressure on the bottle the extra juice is pulled back into the bottle. No mess at all.

those pictures are like porn to me because I really do love my reo. they dont get enough time in the spot light here. a lot of great mods don't get enough of the spot light unfortunately. but yeah the reo is great. and my reo mini is unregulated, which i feel pairs very well with the life of an atomizer for whatever reason... as the atty heats up it changes and needs less voltage, which is fine because the voltage of your battery drops. when I use an atomizer on a regulated mod like my provari or spinner, its just not the same as using it on an unregulated mod.

I don't need to punch the power up as far as I can go without burning when I'm using a regular old 510 atomizer. All it needs is some tender loving and care. a switch of my draw speed here, a shorter draw length there... atomizers are user controllable instead of relying on the device's voltage. Its alll about the air flow and length of draw and amount of juice in it when it comes to dripping.

I could get a great vape out of a 3ohm atty at 3.7 volts. you can't really say that about a cartomizer or a carto tank or anything like that.

That's a very improtant point, and a reason that the longer a person drips the better they get at it. There's a world of small adjustments and tweaks in vaping style that effects the quality of vape with an atty. The more you learn the easier it is to get the most out of any atty you buy. It really is more than drip, vape, repeat, and experience is the only way to get the most out of dripping.

i've been stuck with dripping for the past day or so and i gotta say, im not a fan. i would rather fill a clearomizer or cartomizer and go on with my day instead of stopping, putting a couple drops in, taking a few pulls and have to do it all over again in like 2 minutes lol. when i first started vaping all i used was cartomizer's. now that im stuck with an atomizer i feel like you get better flavor, vapor, and TH using a cartomizer. i guess my point is dripping=fail lol

Tanking is where its at for sure. Altho I have to drip untill I can buy a glass tank... my juice melts cleaos.

Dripping is BLISS compared to the poor taste of cartos...you just need a good atty.

When I was dripping, AVAs/HH.357s were awesome compared to my wife's cartos. Been off both for a while, but I'd never consider a carto again.

I just broke in my first HH357 last night. I have to use a totally different pull technique but when I got the hang of it this thing is a beast!

No one really suggested rebuildables either. I like rebuildables a lot.
there are a couple nice rebuildable DRIPPING atomizers out there.
I personally own the V3, also known as the Hebel, and I like it a LOT for dripping.
It just uses a teeny tiny little quarter inch section of string, 4-5 coils and ur good for 2-3 months.
Then when its getting burny or tasting weird, you just wrap a new coil. It'll never truly stop working.
You can always fix a rebuildable atomizer... The HH.357 atomizers are fantastic 510-style attys...
But I think EVERYONE should try both the 357 AND rebuildable atomizers.
Id go as far as saying every serious vaper should have at least a couple/a few rebuildables.
Not just for dripping but also rebuildable tank set-ups... even if its just 2-3 vivi novas...
WHY? because you should NEVER be in a situation where you have nothing that works..
Which is why having a rebuildable, in my opinion, is very important.

Just as important as knowing how to drip properly (dripping is really where its at for vaping. You truly cannot find a method of vaping where you get better flavor or vaping. Dripping is it. You dont HAVE to use a regular atomizer tho. you CAN drip into the coils of a vivi nova head, or a stardust, or a smoktech redux clearomizer.. that is dripping too, and it is GOOD.

This is a great post Plumes and I agree fully. I haven't tried a 357 yet but I'm very happy with my phoenix. There is a level of satisfaction of rebuilding it myself and the flavor is great. I have a v3 phoenix on the way.

    hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm? try one drop? lol.
I'd need to hear more before I could help you.

I am using a io6 atomizer from iken vape with the delrin plastic drip tip and it leaks everytime.
Also has a burnt taste/ worst taste I ever encountered before while vaping.
I was testing it out for like maybe 6 hours and got maybe 3 good hits.

I had a 901 once that was actually that bad. Only atty I ever had that would go from close to dry hit to leak with only one drop. I kept using it tho because the flavor was so good with that one, just had to make sure the hole pointed upward. Then I discovered the drip shield and never had to worry about leaking again.
