Anyone know what the protection is on this mod?
I know its unregulated, I had assumed some kind of over current protection in case of a short?
Somebody of the dripbox 160 thread said they were using a 60W dripbox with a 0.06 ohm build. Battery and mod getting hot. Does not seem right?

I'm Not exactly sure what Protection a DripBox 60w has besides Reverse and Low Battery Cut-Off?

At 32:45 in this Video, Phil talks about what it is supposed to have.

I treat mine like a Pure Mech Mod.

The screws are a kind I don't have a driver for (star bit). Guess I'm going to have to replace it :(

Maybe a Friend, Family Member, Neighbor, or Co-Worker would have a Torx Driver set you could borrow? Or you could even pick up a Cheap set at a Hardware Store for about the same price as a Pack of Smokes.

Not say'n that taking the Cover Off and Cleaning things will Fit It. But I hate to let a Tiny Screw stand in my way when I want to take something apart.

Except for that click-click-click-OFF thing, and knowing the battery's made contact cuz the button lights up.....me too.

Thanks for the link... .06 just seems very low before the short protection kicks in and it will not fire. Even limited to 10 seconds surely its not going to be good for the battery long term?

    I agree.

And it was Worrisome to read about someone running a .06 Ohm build and their Battery getting Very Hot. Like the guy said his was in that DripBox 160W thread.

Couple that with the Circuit Board not having any Thermal Shut Down ability and you have all the makings for a Bad Day.

    Well, looks like I can get a kit with T4, T5, T6, T7, T8, T9 and T10 for $4.33, so that should work.
    I'm sure they're crap, but that's OK.

I got a 6 way itty bitty screwdriver/torx set from Walmart online. It works great for these itty-bitty torx screws.
T-4 is the one I use the most.

I talked a buddy into buying a Dripbox, and his is leaking from up where the stainless tube goes into the mod. Anybody heard of this and a fix? Google search shows zero results.....

    I just looked in Mine.

Wow... There was quite a bit of e-Liquid up there. Does exact give me a Warm n' Fuzzy feeling.

I guess it is coming from Tube Hole in the Bottle Plug?
