I will try to answer some of these electronics questions after I get my hands on one. I do plan on trying to dissect it in the name of science.

Please do, cause unfortunately that's where I fail with this. I'm not technical in any sense nor do I have the tools at hand. I look forward to reading your findings when you get yours in.

My guess is it has a small ego like board with no regulation. How low the RDS is on the Mosfet will be the key to performance. I have altered the small ego like boards from FT to switch a 3034 to use the click on / off feature so adding a 3034 if the RDS is not good shouldn't be a problem. If by some fat chance it does have regulation I would bet it is PWM so adding a 3034 still wouldn't be out of the realm. Question is ...... can it be dissected and put back together without damaging the case.

So I've been using the included rda that came with the drip box and I kinda like it. It's not great but it's nice for an included rda. The bottle is about empty and it still feeds just fine. I'm not exactly sure what all these reviewers were talking about with it being hard to squeeze the bottle to get it to feed to the rda. Yes the first time you do it it's a little hard, but once the first time is over its easy, I assume there's juice in the tube and under the rda portion of the deck that sits there making it easier after the first. It's no harder to squonk with this rda then it is with any of my others and it's no harder then any of my other mods.

I was thinking that besides the posts looking a little cheesy that the RDA looked pretty solid. I like the side air that's up high & the chuff caps. I plan on running it when I get it & at least if it's terrible I have other attys I can run.
I didn't think anything of it until I used it, it's flavor isn't off the charts but it's nice. I would of rather them just made a nice 2 post rda that doesn't take replaceable decks. And I wish it took different chuff caps, but it doesn't, can't have everything I guess lol. I noticed part of the problem is with the rda's BF pin, it comes right out so I took a look at it and put it back in and most of the hole on top is blocked off by the insulator, only half is showing. Easy fix though, just something I noticed that might help it's squonk ability.

It would be nice if they made a "permanent" build deck, like a Velocity style deck that screws in to the atty. Crazier things have happened but they released a build deck for the SBTM as an option eventually. I don't think KT is big on V2 versions but they have added to existing products.

If this thing is essentially a mechanical mod that you can charge via USB I'm more than fine with that. And if it lasts longer than a month I'll be happy.

Has any one that has one of these put a volt meter on the posts yet to see if the devise is running a stepdown
voltage regulator or something the like?
Unfortunately no, I don't have one or else I would definitely of done that for everyone.

If you go back and watch the video's that are out there, they do specify exactly what KT says in their specs... It is a "mechanical" device and "NOT" regulated, and it will handle "up to" 60watts... To me that means what ever you build it to it will not or should not fire anything that is over 60watts and probably has a step down built into the device to keep it that way.

I don't get why the reviewers on youtube that have their hands on one have only speculated on what it puts out.
The straight math doesn't add up to me any how at this point
My guess is that 60 Watts is the manufacturers recommended maximum wattage and there isn't any kind of regulation. There is one of the pre-release ones for sale and one already sold on the Italian forum I check in on but by the time it got here from Italy I hope to have one through normal sale so not spending 45 euro plus shipping etc. not to mention the language barrier. Google translate sucks. It is like my Sister in laws foreign exchange student said....when she got back to Italy she was going to tell her English teacher what she teaches isn't what we speak.

I thought he mentioned he fired a .11Ω, but it was changed out for a .14Ω or something to that effect... If in fact he was able to fire something that low, it would tell me that there is either a step down in the device or the voltage drop in it is massive!!! Only makes sense I would think...

MVS has them in stock today.
MVS description says a constant 60 watts? Indicates some form of regulation, but it also says 3.7V so perhaps 3.7V is actually the regulation? Let's hope it's voltage regulation and not wattage or else the board comes out very soon after I get it....cough....tootlepuff cough. So either 60 watts, .2 ohm's or 3.7V is incorrect? More questions than answers. Well I hope my pre-order at breazy comes to fruition soon then, my scope can't tell me anything till then. Got some Mosfets, Evolve boards, and YiHi boards that could use a home anyway lol.
