I'm looking at getting a rebuildable dripping atomizer to test my many eliquids.
What's so special about genesis styles? Hear a lot about them, but is that too much for a newbie to get into?
Personally, what atomizer would you recommend with what build? I like my ohms to be somewhere between 1 and 2.
Also, I don't want to spend $30+ on it because I plan on buying a couple.
Thanks!:)

If you don't mind the wait for delivery and have no problem buying clones, fasttech have a good selection of drippers. I know quite a few people on here have bought them and are happy. I've got 3 myself, arrived yesterday, so I'm just cleaning them ready to try. Just make sure you read the reviews for any you're thinking about buying and do some research before pushing the trigger. You can pick up drippers there to try from $5 upwards. Hope that helps :D

Start small, practice building coils and then move to other types when comfortable.

The mini-RDA, Phoenix V4, Smoktech squid (all the same ERA-based device) are great and provide plenty of flavor and vapor, and the airhole is easy to drill out if you think you need to. It's small and affordable, but it performs exceptionally well.

It does help! I was looking at the Phoenix V5 but couldn't find any reviews. As I understand it, you build a decent coil and you can get anything to vape well!
I bought my SVD from FastTech, and even though it took 2 weeks to get to my door, it was worth the price. Besides, my juice could use another month of steeping ;) haha

the original v5 on fasttech has around 60 5 star reviews/
the v5 the m4 (phoenix) and the yk1 (cyclone copy) are my faves. with the yk1 coming out on top with a 1.2mm airhole. for a small atty it packs a punch. FT does not sell the octopus but for 8 bucks this is a surprisingly potent dripper as well

for 15- 20 bucks you can get a couple from fasttech

a genesis is actually a different system using a tank and mesh wick, very clean and powerful vapor, but a learning curve.
Dripping atty's on the other hand are pretty simple to set up.

Yep another thumbs up for the V5,

had mine a few weeks now, drilled out the airhole to 1.5 mm, replaced the dual coils, with a single coil, then watched as the clouds rolled in.

I got the ithaka clone, v9 dripper, v10 dripper and the YK1 KTS dripper this time from FT. The YK1 might be a good place to start, as it's only a single coil and is a nice compact design. One thing I would suggest though, if you do get a dripper from FT, be careful when you first take it apart to clean it. Two of my new toys had really tight fitting O-rings, I had to heat up the dripper body a little just to separate them without destroying the O-rings. A bit of liquid should help when I come to put them back together :D
