Just set up my IGO-L...first-time RDA user (2.0 ohm coil, 3mm silica wick), drilled-out air hole to 3/32")....
Saturated the wick with Boba's and let it set for ~ 10 minutes... took a hit....
GREAT!!!:D
BUT....after 2-3 more hits....the dreaded "burnt taste"!!!:(
It looks like the juice isn't wicking onto the coil...or it's doing it so slowly I'd be resigned to taking hits 3 minutes apart!!!
Yeah, I COULD thin out the juice with distilled water....but before I start messing with the juice....
Is there something I'm messing up with the "hardware"??? Maybe a longer wick "soak"???
TIA!

Try cotton wicks silica and 100% vg dont get along very well. Its just too thick. Or the coil has hot spots and the silica is slightly being a heat sink allowing the coil to remain warmer for your next hit and makes the hot spot shows up faster. Can you post pics to see how exactly you have the device set up

Probably will go with cotton.....I've got a huge ball of Peaches & Cream from Wal-Mart...I'll boil some!!!:D
Can't do pics.....but if you check out PBusardo's YouTube review of the IGO-L....that's how I've got mine set up..
Same single coil and wick configuration....
Thanks much, guys!!
Happy (vaping) Trails!

UPDATE.......
Many thanks to all who offered assistance!!
Re-wicked my -L with Peaches & Cream cotton....same 2.0 ohm coil...saturated wick with Boba's, let sit for 15 minutes....
Now....THAT'S BOBA'S!!!!!:D
Just gotta remember NOT to dry-burn THIS wick.......;)
I kinda like savagemann's idea of a "dedicated" dripper....at <$20 I may spring for another -L for other juices....
First things first, though......GOTTA GET MORE JUICE!!!!
The best RDA on earth is useless without something to put IN it.......:)
Happy (vaping) Trails!

You can get in igo L from fast tech for roughly around what a pack of american spirit analogs cost me locally.
If you buy 3 or more they are even cheaper.
I have accumulated about 8 of them over the last couple months.
I dedicated an atty to each of the flavors that I vape regularly.
All together must have about 15 rdas and 4 rbas.
I have about 10 mechs, each one setup and ready to rock a new flavor whenever I wanna change up.
With the cost of clones and cheap attys, it's not hard to accumulate that much over a few month period without spending much more than I used to on analogs.
