I think I will still have to cut down to zero; I thnk nicotine restricts blood flow. When the time comes, hopefully I can talk to the anesthesiologist in advance.

Definitely. If you are in the hospital for a procedure that could be impacted by any substance...nicotine, caffeine, etc. you should always let your Dr. know and get advice in advance.

I mentioned vaping in the room, because my wife was in the hospital for a few days last year due to complications with her MS and she did vape in the room. However, she was not having any operations or procedures being done either.

I am a little late to the conversation here, but for what it's worth, I use a pt2 clone to drip, while I await my first RDA.

Pretty simple; unscrew the tank from the base, to expose the atomizer. Then remove the chimney from the atomizer, to expose the coil. Drip the wick with juice, screw the tank on and give'er. Works great for flavour switching.

Thanks, I have already ordered something based on a recommendation. I wanted something with which I have to do nothing - no unscrewing, no removal, and especially no exposure! LOL

One final question: the guidelines I've looked at seem to say to NEVER let it dry out...? I can't clean it and store away for future use? I'd really appreciate some clarification on this; thanks.

Just prime it with a few drops of pure PG or VG for storage. I use PG/VG to clean my coils--I don't even use alcohol. And I don't dry burn--I just vape a little PG/VG in between flavors. PG is a great solvent.

Thanks, again, Katya. Wish I had realized that before I ordered my stuff. Maybe the local health food store will have some VG.

Yeah, but the health food store is just down the street, and WallyWorld is about 8 miles away.

Just make sure it's USP (US Pharma) grade. You can also get Pure PG, VG or a mix of PG/VG (with or without nicotine) from many e-cig and juice vendors. It's good to have some on hand.

yup thats it. This is the easiest method for dripping. I used this for a year before I started using more advanced drippers.

buy a few though. They are disposable...depending on how heavy a vapor you are they will only last 2-4 weeks or so.
A properly maintained atty lasts me indefinitely. Using 306 Cisco spec 1.5Ω bridgeless, XL 306 Delrin drip tip and Empire drip shield. Blow out atty daily and rinse or soak in vodka for a few minutes IF NECESSARY. Allow a few minutes for any excess alcohol to completely evaporate, prime and vape. Have had 1 atty pop the coil in the last 6 months vaping 30/70 pg/vg liquids.

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but I have a blog about direct dripping you might find useful: Drip, Drip, Drip…
OFF TOPIC: Hi Ocey, I haven't been on here very much lately. Just wanted to say it was good to see you on ME last night (dragonslayer212). I'll always consider you one of my vaping mentors because of your knowledgeable and helpful posts on ECF :)

Did you just call me fat??? :p
:laugh:Hardly! In fact, I have to lose at least ten pounds. I'm having some elective surgery (smaller, not larger LOL) in about 100 days. And I need to get this ol' bod to a place where I'm going to be happy after the procedure. So. vaping my desserts will work! Holding off on the dripping until I get my Virgin Vapors Kona Coffee Milkshake. Waiting to let let that steep is going to be difficult!

OK, having issues tasting anything, I finally tried dripping (also found out I may have to steep the Kona for weeks), and WOW! The taste is SO much stronger...and can you say "throat hit?" Loving it. Thanks again for the assistance. I had enough time that I ended up getting a bottle of 50/50 unflavored base, so I can use it to keep the dripper lubricated.
