im sorry if im posting this in the wrong section. i looked at the sections and subsections and couldnt tell exactly where to post this.

im new to vapping (2mos) and have a small collection of juices i dont like. i dont mind spending the money on the juices but i hate wasting a new clearomizer in the process. ive read where dripping is the answer to this problem but im completely clueless on how to get this started.

i want to purchase an ecig that i can use for dripping. i could use suggestions on what to buy. are there kits for is type of ecig so that i dont have to build it myself? this is what i prefer because i really dont want to get into mods. although if thats the only way to do it then i will.

if you can just point me in the right direction i would appreciate it. right now i dont even know where or what to look for.

For starters what do you have now? Most any e-cig can be used for dripping. All you need is an atomizer attached to a battery and a drip tip! Doesn't have to be an expensive atty a standard one for around $5 (or less) will work, and drip tips are as cheap as $2.

Old school dripping! Check out those cartridges we used to have those things were horrible! :p

Start off getting a 510 apv. For dripping and testing juices, you'd be best off with variable voltage or wattage so you can dial in the perfect setting for a particular juice. But that's certainly not nessesary. You could start out with any 3.7v mod. Then get some Genuine Joye 510 atomizers. Make sure they're genuine. These are reliable, last long, perform well, and are a great value for the price. Later you could experiment with different attys, but the Joyes are a good place to start. If you go with the 3.7v mod over the variable voltage, be sure to get the attys in the low res version for a more powerful vape. Make sure to blow out the pg the attys are shipped with until they won't wet a paper towel anymore. Prime them with about 7 drops when new or between liquids, wait a minute or two, add a couple of extra drops for fun and vape away. Don't flood. If you do, you'll notice a significant decreas in vapor. Just burn through it and it will come back to life. 5 to 10 hits or until muted or burnt flavor, then add 2 drops to refresh. Blow out between juices and repeat process. Blow out from the threaded end.

Drip tip is all about style... whatever turns you on. It'll say if it's 510... most are.

You don't need a drip shield, but it's a fantastic device. Without it, you'll run into some leaking now and then. Keep a paper towel handy. With it, no leaks, save $ on paper towels. Just make sure you get a 510 to 510 adapter so it will work right as they where originally made for 901. I havent looked at them in a long while so perhaps you don't need the adapter anymore. Check.

with this info, i went to the only local store (rocket e-cig). they dont have much in the way of stock so no name brand joyetech. i will describe what they had. someone tell me if this is all i need...
1. 510 battery
2. 510 atty (not just the atty. it sits at the bottom of a metal tube-built in. is this the shield?)
3. plastic empty mouth piece that slides into the metal tube-looks like an empty carto.
4. they have various colored drip tips.

do i need all of these pieces?

YAY... IT WORKS GREAT!! thanks for all your help and info. i wasnt sure how it was gna work and not dribble out all over the place. unfortunately, a few of the flavors i didnt like to begin with wasnt because of the clearomizer and didnt get better after steeping for a month. but there were several that are better (although still not great) than they were than when i first tried them. i also realized that as long as im at home, i could see myself dripping. a few drops is about the same amount i use each time from my clearomizer. will save me some money in clearomizers sincr they wont get used up so quickly.
