NYC
In NYC everyone looks at everyone pass by them in the street. Up and down, front and back... Like its a ***damn fashion show (that's not foul talk, its my New York accent coming out). But when I drip and walk or am standing outside with other smokers no one says anything. Yes they look, but I think its for many reasons, none make me feel bad, negative or like I'm doing anything wrong.. I've never been accused of smoking where I couldn't. I dont think I've had strangers ask me what it is I am doing, but my friends sure seem to ask. I've also seen a few vapers in the street but am so busy when I'm out that I haven't found the best situation to stop and talk to them.. Guess thats NYC for you, too busy to stop and smells the vapers...

I say don't be shy! And screw what everyone thinks, do what feel right!

Do you drip in public? I thought it might seem a little weird adding a few drops while dripping in public. Does this seem to attract any extra attention, or go unnoticed?
Q: Do I drip in public?
A: All the time

Q: Does this seem to attract any extra attention, or go unnoticed?
A: I have no idea...Since I'm not focused on what others might think about
me vaping...I don't even look around and worry about such trivial stuff.
Ya see...I flat don't care what strangers might think about me dripping or
vaping in public. I don't feel guilty...I don't feel embarrassed or feel like I
should sneak around the corner (out of site) to drip/vape.

One of the main concerns most vapers seems to have is...
Wondering what others might think or say...Thats a carry over
from the days when we were persecuted when we smoked tobacco

I drip fill my cartos in public all the time.

Like Petrodus said, I don't really care what someone else thinks.

On the positive side some people have seemed to overcome their own shyness when i do this, and ask about e-cigs. The comments are usually along the lines of.. hey is that one of those electric smoke things?!

Allot of people are very positive in their reactions, and I steer them WELL clear of the mall/radio add stuff. This is the most common seconday reaction. Oh like XYZ in the mall?! No, no, no, NO!

Regardless, the overall reactions are typically really good, especially when they hear about the benefits, no burning, good smells, less money, no carcinogen stuff. Some people ask to 'smell' the bottle and depending on who/where I may let them get close for a whiff (I usually vape things like french toast/thin mint/etc). This actually seems to get people more excited than the tobacco flavors.

In the end, no shame, no guilt, drip!
