Probably depends on the amount you're vaping. I find it no more inconvenient than taking a cigarette out of the package and taking a lighter out of my pocket lighting it. 2-3 drops seems to be the equivalent of one smoke for me. I may lose about 2 minutes a day from dripping. I usually find better things to do at night and the morning than filling carts when I really see no need.
I agree with this post.

If you are chain vaping constantly, I would think dripping all the time could be cumbersome.
And many people don't think you should drip and drive, and those people shouldn't.

Cartomizers or cartridges might be better for some of those people.

[...] I just picked up a bunch of tobacco flavours and some mints, I'm curious about formulating my own menthols. [...]

I'm sure you've found the "Do it Yourself e-liquids" section, specifically this thread?

Edit: Hmm... I can't get that page to load. It was there only yesterday. OK, now it's working.

It doesn't really bother me to be honest when chain vaping at my desk, the really fresh flavour and hit on the first few drags after dripping makes up for any inconvenience.

Had found that forum, hadn't found that thread. Cheers! Grain alcohol is a ..... to get in Ireland though unfortunately.

Yes I have tried to return to carts. And ugh... It was nauseating. I can't stand carts. I'm using a drip tip also and it's a lot less hassle than using a mouth piece or empty cart and having to take it off to drip all the time. Carts get a nasty "old infection" taste to them if you re-use them or use them two days in a row. They just get NASTY and dingy and taste like crap. Thank god for drip tips. I could care less about a juice feeder. I'm in vaping heaven still after starting dripping 2 months ago. :)

Hawaii! Yay haha
I'm testing out Vapor4Life cartomizers on a KR808 kit today (going to use the kit to convert analog smokers to digital). Amazing how having a pcc with it (filled with an automatic battery and 2 cartos) make it just as convenient to carry around as analogs. Having to screw on a carto before smoking, is sort of like having to light an analog. I've found the technique of drawing the vapor directly to the lungs (rather than drawing it into your mouth, then inhaling after) allows for a long, long vape that brings out some nice thickness in the fog, and there's decent taste and throat hit, and I think it's a great backup if a dripper needs one.

Personally I'll drip - or not vape at all. I'd rather wait till I can drip than to use cartos as a backup, but I think cartos are a very, very good option for many!

Paul: Could it be the ergonomic curve of the tip? I have straight tips and I normally just press it to my lips, it doesn't go in my mouth at all. Now you have me thinking :)

Xanax: That is one sexy Chuck, I love pirate stuff! I know I told you on ECF chat, but wanted to preserve it in forum text :)

Here and back
Quasimod, The Johnson Creek pump arrived, I don't know what I was thinking. I was expecting something about the size of a 15ml bottle, this thing is huge! I guess I never noticed in the pictures anything near it to compare size.

Anyway, I'm not sure about it yet, learning curve ahead. I don't feel confident in the amount dripped. Also, how do you hold it when you pump? Do you hold it vertical or horizontal?

By the way, the sample juice came too, only tried one so far, Johnson Creek Original. I like it.

Trust me people... A Spray Bottle is the way to go...
Been doing it for a long long time and am a super happy vaper!
Sorry Quasimod (think it was you who asked me...) NO LINKS. The Lab to the bottle is Cassara, from Argentina, and the name of product is HyperSol.
Looks similar to most nasal sprays, though...

Yeah, I have described it as "too freaking big", "huge" and "enormous". I put up with it because it's so handy, and sometimes I just drop the inner bottle in my shirt pocket. I'm always on the lookout for a better pump, let me know if you find one.

The angle you hold it at is pretty forgiving, because of the hemispherically shaped bottom of the bottle. Use it without the outer case and you can see what I mean. It's not something I worry about until it's almost empty, then I keep it more vertical. I'm on my phone so links are hard, but I've got a little more here:

Does it look like this?

Nasal Spray Bottles

If so, it is meant to spray upwards... Do you invert your PV over the top of it? I guess if you remove the tube it would work with the nozzle pointing down...
I would think e-liquid is too thick to be sprayed as a mist...? I'd love to find a better way to drip, any chance of some more info?

The YO
im one of those people who doesnt read any posts , i just toss my answer up, and for me , im pretty much done with regular carts...

i have been dripping on my new big washer 901 atties , and it beats teh everloving urine out of any carto or cart . i filled a cart the other day , and it was still dry in no time , which sucks...

i am workin on making scuba dans carto , just for driving , but other than that , im looking for the best drip solution for me , which is looking like a bottom fed mod wetbox style...
