Really Durtman, I'm facinated and must be vaping a lot less than the average PV user. Maybe that's why my bottles last so long. I know I cut back considerable from my cigarette habit which was running 2-3 packs a day, but 2-3 drops per cigarette.

Now my age is failing me. Is it 20 drops per ml? At an average of 2.5 drops per cig, that would be 50 cigs a day for me or 125 drops 6.3ml per day, 45ml per week or a bottle and a half per week. Yup, I'm way way off my consumption from my smoking days if my math is right.

If course, some of that would be picked up with the can of Swedish snus I consume per week but just saying.

Well, perhaps 2-3 drops is more like one vaping session to me than the equivalent of one cigarette. I know every time I pick it up to vape, I'll drip a couple drops in there and usually vape until I lose flavor. I figure I've consumed about 30-35 ml in the last month. I used to smoke 30+ cigarettes a day.

kgeiger002, your original question just seems a bit disingenuous after reading your responses, like you don't really want to know the benefits of dripping but an argument instead. Maybe dripping is just a personal preference thing and one can't argue with those of us who find it to be the cat's meow for juicing our attys.

I threw away about 100 carts, gobs of filler, and tons of plastic mouthpieces the day I got my first drip tip. You need to just try it for yourself to see if you like it. But you'll never convince those of us who like it that it's not the best way to juice our attys.

As for dripping while driving, it just takes a steady hand. And yes, red lights do come in handy. :) I wear 3 little bottles on a lanyard so they're always handy, no having to take my juice out of my purse or pocket. I wish someone would invent a 5ml lanyard bottle that would just squirt out 3 drops with every squeeze.

Quasimod, took your advice and just ordered the pump from Johnson Creek. I went ahead and ordered the original sample pack too, do you like their e juice???

JC has a new line of juice that I haven't tried, so I can't comment on those, but I'm not a fan of their other juices. Their old sample pack was the first juice I bought after I found out there were other options than pre-filled carts from NJoy. I thought they were pretty good until I tried some others. Now my all-day vape is 36mg Butter Rum from tastyvapor.com. I'm a very heavy vaper (the main reason carts don't work for me). I also like other stuff, but that's my main vape.

KGeiger,

Its not that ur pissing people off, but more about ur defensiveness and arguementative stance "against" dripping. We can tell you are not a dripper. ;)

The thing/trend is....when you vape 6 months, a year even or longer, chances are...you will have tried all the carts, cartos, attys, etc and by this point in vaping, most have settled on two things. Using a mod and dripping.

At first, everyone wants an ecig to look like a real cig. And even taste like one. But, a few months into it and most could care less what it looks like and it becomes all about performance. There's where the battery mods come into play.
Next, most look for something to improve the vapor, taste and performance of the liquids. Here is where dripping comes in. I know MOST veteran vapers have tried every trick of the trade.....and most find that dripping completes thier journey.

I didnt "get it" myself at first and knew either it has somewhat of a learning curve, or all these people are just crazy. ;) SO I tried it some more and saw the light.

I agree, dripping may not be for everyone, but thru my OWN journey, I DID find it to be for me. Learnign which attys need three drips instead of four, what voltages with which juice, and what attys I like the most are other examples of my journey.

For me, I find the 510 to be my mainstay set-up for daily activities of leisure, work and play, but I DO love the 801 while lying around the house. I find it to be too big-looking for daily out n about use. I like cartos, but do not love them. However, thats all I use for night driving or nights at the club. For the bar nights, day driving and work, I drip the 510 like its going out of style. I suppose its safe to say if I can see, I drip :D - 3-4 drips before use, vape til flavor leaves and by then Ive got my nic fix and the mod goes back in my pocket. Takes all of 7 seconds to take out the bottle, open, drip, close and Im done! I guess you can call it an art...much like when I smoked id get my zippo out, possibly do a lil zippo trick opening it up, lite my cig, close and put it back.....

Its all about what YOU prefer, but once I got the hang of dripping, I found carts and such to be a waste of my time.

There ARE a FEW veteran vapers I know of that still prefer cartos tho. So, you are not alone.
Just my $3......:D

I drip sometimes but generally not when I'm "on the road" so to speak. Foam filler just works for me. I don't prefill a bunch of carts and swap carts when they run out. I topoff/refill as needed from a dropper bottle. Takes a moment to do that, but I don't have to do that too often. Although I do have this one 510 atty that frustratingly refuses to wick thru the bridge :)

With dripping I get an overly rich hit to start with, and then quickly am getting overly lean hits. I'm generally able to get more consistent hits off of a foam filled cart until its time to refill.

Having said that... the juice pump gizmo looks like a really nice accessory for dripping!

Also, I really like to vape while I drive... and dripping while driving would be tricky especially with a cup of coffee in one hand :)

Okay, you people have convinced me to give it a good try. I try to be open minded, as I`m reminded of the old saying. "Conviction prior to investigation will leave a man in everlasting ignorance".

After about an hour or so, I can say that I am not experiencing a difference in flavor from a good cart mod. Does this change? I also see people claim that they drip to be able to change flavors, but the few times I`ve changed flavors by carts I`ve had to clean the atty because the old flavor just seems to linger forever.

I have found that I prefer 5V for the warmth of the vapor, and to me I enjoy the flavor more, this has been with carts and cartos. I guess this is all something I need to try for myself, but how are the LR attys dripping on an Ego? I suppose I could just drip on a regular 510 atty @5V, but would prefer to stick with my Ego for dripping.

Next thing I`d like to do is try some verry berry I have from madvapes that I just didn`t care for in a cart. That`s been a bit, and could have been a taste bud thing.

You all make it sound so good that there just has to be something to it. I guess I`ll order some drip tips too. They won't go to waste, as I can always try one on a tube fed juice feeder that I now use with a cart and plug.

Hey zbasspro :)

As I said earlier, dripping may not be for you. One of the reasons it is such a better option for me, is that I vaped so frequently at first, that none of the cart mods or filler materials that I tried could keep up with me. I never put it down long enough for anything to wick anywhere. I haven't tried the Zero Filler Mod with the silicone plug, because by the time I saw it I had already established my dripping routine, and I was really happy with it (and really disenchanted with cart mods). Besides, with the modded ePump it's a breeze to drip, and I don't have to remember to fill carts. Simple. After dripping for a few weeks, I could actually taste the filler in the carts. While it's not that unpleasant, it doesn't taste good, either.

I didn't mean to sound strident about it. My air-conditioning was on the fritz. :)

You hit the nail on the head! For example I have been vaping for well over a year. I have tried just about everything. I vape a 5 volt prodigy V1 with a standard 510 and a drip tip. 6ml dropper bottle barely gets me through the day. 4 drops at a time takes me a couple seconds at most. Then it is pure vaping bliss! The cartos I have tried have been a joke. At 5V they burn my lips and become dry burning after the 3rd drag. No thank you!
