So I've made the leap to vaping and so far I'm loving it but I need a quick bit of advice and so far you peeps have been really helpful!

As a newbie I'm experimenting with lots of different liquids but using my vision ego / stardust clearomisers to just try out a new flavour is very frustrating. I tried a dekang waffle flavour that was frankly disgusting (more like blue waffle) and I then had to take it apart, clean it, dry it and reassemble.

It seems dripping would be the easy solution to just try a new flavour but I'm completely clueless! Can someone just give me a simple breakdown of how exactly you "drip" and please recommend me a good component to do it? I have 2 ego twist's so I'm covered on the battery side, not sure what else I'd need to buy.

Oh! If there are any good liquids you can recommend in the UK that would be awesome too. Currently vaping a HI-5 which I'm absolutely loving but I'm looking to get a nice mix of flavours, any gormet juices in the UK?

1. get a few good atomizers: my favorite are Hybrid 510's (they are bridgeless 306 coils in a 510 body more or less), like an Aero from Avidvaper...but you could just get a good i.e. Cisco spec 510 or 306 for starters... from same place. Good well known brand.
(don't bother with the HH357 until you get dripping down good).

2. get really small sample sizes of juice until you find something you really like.

Dripping is for atomizers; just a few drops at a time; and the flavor is more clean. Ego Twist is a great device for finding the "sweet spot".

I actually just started dripping today. I was in the exact same boat as you. I had vivi novas and cartos to test with but it was a lot of work. Turns out, the only thing you need is an atty. I order a couple of these. 510 Smok Tech LR Atomizer
I dont know anything about UK shops but I just wanted to show you what it looks like. Also you may wanna get a drip tip.

Yes but he/she doesn't even know HOW to drip.
That is his/her question.

So I ordered:

510 Low Resistance Atomiser £4.49 - Vaping Spares - Atomisers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

and a

510 Column Drip Tips £1.99 - Vaping Spares - Drip Tips Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

Also got a bunch of liquids to try, nice sample selection on that site. Can you let me know if I need anything else? I'll try googling some guides to dripping when I get home but my understanding is I literally just drip a few drops on top of the atomiser and vape on?

Dripping has always been my go 2 way to vape. Some people think it's a pain but it's just like anything else that seems difficult at first. In time you'll master it...

Here's a good link of the difference between dripping, cartomizers etc.

I'd keep it as simple as possible at first. AS nice basic 510 atty, standard or low resistance "If you have the right battery to use a low resistance atty." Don't blow a ton of money but get a decent atty. It's good to know the difference between a junky atty and a good one IMO so when I started I just bought some cheapies and some good ones about a month later so I could see the difference.

As far as places to get that stuff I know a good person to ask would be IGETCHA69 since you're in Wales and he's in the UK. He's got TONS of reviews and is an ECF member as well. Dude is full of good knowledge. Here's his youtube page link: https://www.youtube.com/user/igetcha69?feature=results_main

The only place I personally know of that's pretty cheap that has a UK store online is Liberty Flights. They have a US and UK page. Here's the UK page link: E-Liquid - E Liquid UK - E Cig Liquid. Hope someone locally can help you find what you're looking for that's in your neck of the woods!

EDIT* Just looked at the Liberty Flights UK page and saw they carry ikenvape atty's. Those are high quality atty's so that would be a great bookmark for your hardware needs. Prolly a ton more but I know nothing about UK sites. Hope that helps a little.
