Dripping VS Cart With Filler

Ok, so this has probably been answered years ago when the dripping method was thought of but what's more efficient.

Dripping
Keeps the atty wet which may prolong lifespan but is surely going to clog up the atty a hell of a lot more, plus there must be little vapour production if the darn thing is being flooded all the time.

Filler Cart
Keeps the atty reasonably dry which in turn dry burns the atty every drag keeping it clean and running hot enough to produce decent vapour. But a messy pain in the ... to replace/fill.

Regardless of the method, the rule is still the same. Keep the atty wet while you're using it. If you don't it will eventually either die or pop. Either way, the atty will become useless and end up in the trash bin. Dripping doesn't clog up the atty any more than using a cart. My experience is that the atty clogs up less when dripping, doesn't get flooded unless I put one too many drops in, flavor is tons better, vapor production is more consistent and way less juice is wasted, if any.

I use blue foam in my carts and it wicks pretty well. I also pay attention to the temp of my atty. If it's getting hotter than normal then I take off the cart and fix whatever is wrong - top off, or do a full fill, or fiddle with the position of the blue foam, or wash the foam or whatever it needs. And I swap attys every weekend and do an overnight alcohol clean on the used one (I use vodka since I had some and it's a clear non-sweet liquor but need to get some grain instead).

I can't really compare dripping because I can't drip on my M401 so I drip on a KR8 battery w/ 901 atty. I only flooded it once in a big way. When you put too much juice in a 901 it will go through the bridge area and come out below through atty airhole so I don't really have a problem with too much juice staying in the vaporizing part of the atty.

just drip....or purchase one of the many auto-fed mods available and not have to worry about either method....unless you have the time to fiddle with poly-fill (that stuff melts too---you probably don't need to inhale it, no?), foam, teabags, etc several times a day...just drip.

Yup yup! :)

I agree too! Also, if you want to change liquids, all you need to do is blow it out and keep on vaping.

I agree with WomanOfHeart that whatever method you choose, proper maintenance of any atty will prolong its life and performance. That said, I drip all day. The best method for that is to make sure you recognize when you need to drip again, and not to drop too much, otherwise it will flood. But vapor production and taste are never compromised with dripping. And I hardly ever have to blow out or clean my atty.
