I bought a drip tip and am now dripping. When done correctly, the taste seems better than anything. Do you agree?

There are times when the taste seems very bitter. I suspect I am either running low on juice or frying it with over use. Could someone please comment on this?

One question I have is, when you are adding drops, where should you aim for, the center element, around the element, or both. BTW, what is the correct word for the element? Element? Bridge? Resistor?

Happy vaping!

I'm dripping on a Volcano Inferno, which is pretty much a rebranded eGo with a different type cone attachment if I am to believe what I've read. (Cone slides over a o-ring instead of screwing on.) I found that dripping right down the drip tip, onto the center of the bridge, then letting the unit sit vertically for about ten seconds works just fine. I agree that the taste just seems much purer than with carts. I've found the bitter taste comes when the atty is running too dry. Letting the juice saturate into the atty for a few seconds before resuming my vape has helped a ton with this. Also, I'm not sure how long you're taking between hits, but I'm finding my atty can burn through juice really fast, so I start with four drops and top off with two or three every 10-15 hits. Also taking shorter hits. (Around 2-3 seconds helps a ton.) Hope this helps.

Yes, I've found that to work best for me. I'm still pretty new to this myself, so I'm not yet sure how people take such long hits without sacrificing taste. My last PV was a 510 and I'd take really long hits without noticing much of a bitter taste, so I'm just assuming the larger the battery, the more power it produces, thus the liquid is vaporized at a faster rate. Any veterans care to shed some light on this?

Yes that about sums it up. A good liquid will produce sufficient satisfaction in a 2-3 sec hit.

Some thing that really helps here, hit the button 1 sec before drawing e.g as you are bringing your PV to your mouth, and continue sucking for a sec or two after letting go of the button as the atty is still producing vapour on its cool down period. This will increase both satisfaction and atty life.

Just tried this and woah, that's nifty! Thanks for the pointer!

Badhabit-

Imo, dripping definatly tastes better than anything. I've tried carts and cartos and can't handle them after dripping... they just have funny tastes.

If you want to take it to the next level, debridge and/or de-wick your atty (do a search on the forum or youtube for how to). It really tastes clean on a debridged atty.
