I've seen a few others who have had this issue and was wondering if there was a reasoning behind this?
I dropped one of mine on to a plush carpet but now it charges funny as in thinks it's charged then says oh wait not yet then re-flashes and continues to charge, then when you us it, it doesn't shut off for about 5-10 seconds???

Black auto normal length with green led.

I had problems with one, I think it was mainly from an overfilled carto, then I dropped it five feetish onto concrete, it was done after that, I try to charge it and the led just starts flashing crazy.
The other, I was jumping up to grab a nail gun that was ontop of a framed wall and it jumped out of my pocket onto 3/4" plywood flooring. It hasn't responded in any way to anything! This has been four days or more, and the led still has a dim glow. I am waiting for it to go completly dead and try to recharge it, but I doubt it will ever recover.
As much as I hate the idea, I bit the bullet and orderd a Leaford lanyard to prevent this in the future!

Sawlight-A necklace-now you've done it. You have crossed over to the other side.LOL LOL LOL. Leaford-It is time to put a beltstrap hook and loop on the lanyard. Can't have the MANLY MEN walking around with a cord around their necks! More will sell with the ability to put them on the belt.

I see so many people dropping their batteries short distances, nothing severe, and having them break, yet I have dropped one of mine 5 feet onto a wooden floor, and another about 20 feet onto concrete, other than the 20 feet one sadly being chipped to hell, they still work perfectly fine :/

Only had mine a couple weeks or less heh, I think I need a lanyard.
