Hi and welcome,
What device?
If possible, remove batteries from unit.
Use "desiccant" to absorb humidity/moisture. (Seal it in a zipper bag with your device.)
Do not power on the device until it is completely dry.

BTW: Skip the rice, it's useless.

Well, you've already dried it out in a hair dryer and rice... I'd let it sit (as deconstructed as you are able to make it be, for me that would be removing the battery cover, mod, batteries obviously, etc., other people might take that to a different level) and try once again in a day or two.

If you still have flickering, IMO, you have fried something in your mod. Could send it back for warranty/repair, though this would be more of a repair situation (unless magically, mods don't fall under that cellphone provision, though to be fair, my kid dropped his cellphone in H20 several times, and we never had a problem with warranty, even though warranty is technically *voided* if there is water damage... Either they could not tell, or didn't want to bother with it, not sure which). Either way though, you may not have that mod for a while, may be time to start looking at what you want out of a backup setup (you might choose something different for variety) while you're working on this one....

Best of luck,

Anna

I disagree. A dessicant will drop ambient humidity to near zero. If you happen to be in a very low humidity environment you might be right depending on weather

A desiccant will prevent moisture from getting into electronics, but once the device is wet, it's pretty much worthless.

so... If I eat uncooked rice, will it dehydrate me worse than vaping??? ;)
Hi and welcome.

What kind of rice will you be eating?
How much rice will you be eating?
Have you eaten dry rice before?
Are you trying to stop steaming or are you just a "hobby" ricer?

Cheers

It's a big risk. I'd chalk it up to experience and go shopping.
