Dropped my mod in an outhouse toilet

This happened a couple of months ago but I just thought I share cuz it is pretty funny looking back. I have a cheap istick lanyard for my ecig and I wear it around my neck when I ride my motorcycle cuz who has time to stop and vape and it works really well. I toke hard at lights and I'll hit it while I'm ridding too. So I was cruising around a lake and had to pee so I stopped at an outhouse. It was dark and I couldn't see much and I went to undo my belt and as my hand was coming up I hit my ecig and boom it popped out and right into the blue water of death. You have not contemplated life until you have looked down an outhouse toilet with the light from your cell phone and debated sticking your hand in that blue water. I cursed a few times but ultimately it was the floating feminine hygiene product that finished my decision for me. Luckily I had a spare set up at home that got me by.

I didn't want this to happen again so I went to Walmart and bought some Velcro strips and put the soft end down inside the lanyard and draped enough over the hole and a strip of the the hard end on the outside and boom it won't fall out anymore. And now I can put other mods in it even if they are small for it and not risk losing them.

I was camping this weekend and didn't drop my mod in the outhouse, but I did drop it in the grass drip tip first. Went to take a pull on it and the tip was completely plugged with dirt. Amazing thing? My wife did the same thing the next day. Easy fix with a fork and a good wash, but a plug of dirt renders your mod useless until you can clean it out. Better than an outhouse drop any day even though we both got a mouthful of dirt in the dark.

The outhouse exploded could not figure out how it did explode and then after an investigation it was found to be just somebody's Clapton Coil set to 175 watts......no big deal.......LOL

I have an old leather cigarette case mounted to my fairing that holds my box mods. I usually have and older one in their for riding and keep my good ones in the tour pack. That way if I happen to drop it during riding it wont make me cry. CHEERS!

That! Is a good idea.
I used to keep mine at hand just tucked into my tank bag, had a usb charge cable hooked up in there too if needed.
Until some jack ripped my sicle from me 2 years back. !!!!
I'd like to drop Them in the [edited]...open sewer.
