hi vaping community I wanted to know if dropping nicotine levels would affect my body in any way and if I would still feel a throat hit over time I am at 12 mg right now and want to move to switch I'm using the 12 out of an rda or my tfv8 I got into for the nic high but now I just want to drop down for my health my question is can I drop to that and will I be able to feel a throat hit over time

Throat hit comes from PG and nicotine. So if you're running something like a max VG 12 mg liquid you could try ordering a 60/40 in 6 mg and see what you think.

Also, menthol/mint liquids deliver a little bit of an extra kick.

I started at 24 mg and now I normally do 3 mg and max VG, or at least 80/20. I really don't miss the "big" throat hit of 24 mg, even though I'm also at higher power than when I started, but I've kind of developed a liking for nice, smooth vapes. Everyone's different.

I get the best throat hit, flavor and vapor quality from a fresh wick and coil. About twiice a week I replace the wick and clean the coil. I've been reducing nic very slowly but that needs to happen without increasing daily ml's. I'm doing that so my stash lasts longer, not health concerns. I'd rather be reducing ml's than nic.

I vape 60-70% pg. Over the last 4 years I have gone from 24mg down to 3mg. I found that I had to drop by 3mg (24, 21, 18, 15, 12) every 3 months or so because my body was telling me to (anxiety, woozy, etc). Some of this was likely because my equipment got better. I never really noticed a drop in throat-hit, so the higher pg content might have helped. I honestly had the most trouble dropping from 9mg...I went to 7.5, 6, 5, 4, 3.
