"Do I put the base and coil (without the silicon nipple) on the battery with or without the clearo tube?"
I do the dry burn the way you mentioned, without the clearo tube and without the silicon nipple. This way I can see what is going on. If you put the casing on all you'll get is condensation build-up so it's best to do without all the external stuff. Do it 3-4 times.

Without the tube.

Fire device until coil turns red.
Blow vapor away.
Repeat until coil is clean (not black and gunked up). Some parts of wick may still be black. Nothing you can do about it short of recoiling or rewicking.

IMPORTANT : RINSE HEAD AFTER DRY BURN. PREFERABLY TAPPING THE HEAD PERIODICALY TO DISLODGE THE ASHES.

Yes and and then tap and rinse as danny4x4 suggested. :D Happy Vaping :vapor:

Ps. I am female, but it's ok who's to know these days with just names and avatars ;)

LOL I feel so awkward haha. I own another forum (not related to vaping) and I'm used to using masculine references as I know most folks there. Haha.

I just dry burned and the coil looks new- the real test will be to fire it up in a clearo with juice and see how it vapes! :)
