DS901 manual battery and battery charger

Received a DS901 with manual batteries today. Even though a newbie, I've worked with the eGo and the 510, so the 901 is not my first, but it does have me feeling pretty stupid.

The manual battery appears to be too short to fit in the hole of the charger. The manual button prevents it from going in as far as it needs to go in order to screw in. Is there a trick to this or do I have the wrong charger for it?

For the AC charger you'll need a battery adapter to extend the battery; or, you could go with KR808D-1 batteries which fit the AC charger without an adapter and give you more mAh too. The 901 atomizers will fit the KR8 battery without the need for an adapter.

Otherwise, you'll need to use the USB charger with the manual 901 batteries.

The charger, if AC, is probably for the automatic batteries which don't have a button to get in the way (at least mine are), but my KR8 manual batteries just fit with about 1/4" to 1/2" to spare.

The USB chargers are supposed to be universal and should fit both the manual and automatic batteries.

That's something that's not supplied with the kit, you have to buy it separate.

You can get one of these 901 Battery Extension. MadVapes charges $2.99 shipping for orders <$45, so it'll cost you $6 total.

Thanks for the site link. I may get the USB charger too. I'm only glad this wasn't my first experience with e-cigs.
