Today is the first day I've used the 901 after being an NPRO user and have noticed a distinct difference in the atomizer's ability to completely burn off the juice in the carts.

With the NPRO, the carts come out mostly dry when they at the point of needing filling or replacement. The 901 appears to not be so thorough at doing the same. I started getting that burnt taste giving me the signal that more juice is needed and after inspecting the cart, it was still rather damp.

Anyone else seen this behavior with the 901 atomizers? This isn't so bad if I'm sittng at my desk, but can see where it's a pain when going out and about.

Fish-your "901" is more likely the RN4075 which tend to run hotter then the original DSE901 and as such needs to be topped off more often-Sun

I got it from Totally Wicked e-Liquid. Pretty sure it is a real DSE 901 though. The Engrish instrustions label it as a DSE901 on the specifications.

You mentioned that the RN4075 runs hotter. The first impression of it was that it runs considerably cooler than an npro. It makes a difference on throat a bit however I've noticed it's getting a little better after more use which is likely attributed to atomizer break-in.

Regardless, this is a fantastic vape and should only get better with use. Thanks for the info Sun! :)

Fish, My 901 carts need constant topping offs.I have also noticed that when I pull the fillament out there is still liquid on the "bottom"that does not make contact with the atomizer.Still love my 901 thought! The Wiz!

TW dont sell any 901 kits.

You need to top up the RN4075 regular.

I put 3-4 drops in take 5 - 7 draws and top off again.
This keeps constant and good vapour.

If you keep vaping till you get a burning taste the filling is likely to come out of the cart and stick to the atomiser bridge.

Get a small plastic 5ml or 10ml dropper bottle to decant your liquid in to, use it to top off your carts.

same here... I used an NPRO for about 2 months. Then I switched to the DSE 901 from totally wicked.. and constant fill-ups are an issue.

about 5-7 drags and then i gotta re-fill again.

So after much research on the forums, I decided to get a penstyle. Massive throat hit, longer battery time, and less fill-ups = function over form :D

to each his own

"to each his own "

I guess so.

Never had a problem with frequent topping off, it takes me all of 10 seconds .

After the 901 or I should say the RN4075 which I was happy with apart from the ......
Blinking LED.
Battery life ( 6- 8 a day is not much fun).
Automatic clean ( even less fun):shock:

I got screwed

Yes it has a 901 atomiser but all atomisers ar pesky little boogers who have their on and off days.

I am happy, relaxed and releived,I lucked out and I dont have to work my way through umpteen devices looking for the best.

I have it :D
