dse901 issues...

I am having some problems with my 901 lately. I am getting an alternating non-existent throat hit and so harsh I gotta hack throat hit..I cant seem to find out what the problem is here. I have changed out my atomizer twice, but it doesn't seem to help. Also, I have tried changing the liquid out or what I use to fill the cartridge, and no change. Help, anyone?

Did you clean the attys out? Are you dripping without a filler(teabag or something similar) in the mouthpiece? I hate fillers and dont use em. I just drip. Try cleaning the attys with some vodka or grain alchohol. Usually hot tap water works great though. Then make sure your priming the atty with about 4 drops to begin with. Then add 2-3 drops when you start losing flavor. Gotta make sure you keep the atty wet. Sounds like its going dry on you.

yo man. what e-liquid u using? what mg nic?
and for my 901s having clean the atty threads was some of my trouble.
and do u blow out the primer fluid first? i hate when an atty burns out, cuz the take a fews hous use to settle down...

yeah, ive cleaned it out, but i have not tried direct dripping. i always use a filler. what do you mean by "prime"?

Could be your cartridge isn't wicking the liquid fast enough or is beyond wicking all together, are you using the same cart over & over & just refilling/topping off?
Perhaps a cart mod is in order, if direct dripping does solve the issue-- I'm betting that the issue is toasted cart filler material IMHO.

Priming simply means putting 3-4 drops directly on the atomizer to get it wet for its first use. Check the guide out I posted above:

Some e-liquid in my 901 is too strong for me I bought a bottle of glycerin USP that is food grade and diluted 1 part glycerin to 2 parts e- liquid and that worked for me and used the 24mg nicotine .

I had the same problems with my 901. It happened near the end of the life cycle of the batteries. Since then i've gotten "The Chuck" use much higher capacity batteries and had much better luck with the 901 atty's. I've also switched from 901 atty's to 510 atty's. I like the 510's much better.
