ok first actually. I just realized that I may be wrong about that. I'm not positive if the m801 is the same as the normal 801 that people speak of as I have never ordered either. My apologies for answering hastily but wait for Shawn or someone else to clarify that for you before ordering it.

M801 is NOT the same as the common DSE-801 that people typically refer to as '801'. Especially for use with adapters on a DSE-905, anything M801 related will not work.
thanks for the clarification svt. realized after I had typed it that I had only paid attention to the 801 part and not the m part.
there is a upside to the v2 switch on the bottom though is it is easy to kill power during the cleaning cycle, turn it off overnight etc.. but there are those that dont like the switch an the v3 will be good for them too.
Before I make my next purchase, will the 901-801 adapter work with the m201 atties? I would jump for joy if they do.

I'd love a 901 to 201 addapter.
I am digging the 905... it's not as strong as my mods for some reason, but still good and nice to have in public places. Dependable and sturdy, long battery life.

The unit kicks on after a preset number of button pushes in order to clean your atomizer. It's best to cut power to the unit when you notice it doing this as it will get extremely hot.
I'm not certain if there are any changes in the v3 other than the power switch not being on it. I would suggest though with either version it isn't a bad idea to take the battery out anytime you plan to be away from the unit for any length of time. Personally I like having the power switch on it because then I just click it off if I'm walking away for a short period and take the battery out for overnight.
