By now , i know some here are already sick of me going over this a million times.
More goodies and options for the RCA PVMA system

First pics are with a pass through, the others with a nickostick running on one 18500 battery, all plugged on RCA audio jacks and connectors.

I can also run this little monster on a 2 X 18650 batteries @ 3.7V and 5,000 mAh or 2 X cr123 @ 6V and 900 mAh or a wall power plug @ 4.5 V and 1600 mAh, by just plugging a different cable to it. I can choose between any pair of atomizers from 901, 801, 401, and hopefully soon when i get my new 510.

Pick your poison!

Sorry about the blue RCA adapter, i have not had the patience to finish a matching metal one (coming soon), it works the same anyway.

OK, that is friggin awesome.

Thank you very much Zofryer.

BTW, you can use the same system on your prodigy by only building simple adapters that will allow you to use exactly the same setup, just buy the Y adapter. you can add 3, 4 or as many atomizers as you think your power source can support at the same time.

Here is how...Y adapter plugged to power source, 2 more Y adapters plugged into the first one so now you have 4 jacks to hook up to.
Dare to go insane?, keep adding Y adapters.

The only real danger would be lots of attys on UNprotected batteries. And that is a REAL danger.

warp - nice demo. i remember you had that double atty connector already some days ago :)

Nice button on the NicoStik box too by the way, looks good.

Yes i got several messages asking me what the heck was i thinking when posting all the stuff together lol, it was confusing for some people if not everyone (including myself in some ways)
It was my first thread and remember i couldn't even get it show the photos, if it wasn't for your help, i probably would still be trying to figure it out.

Yes i found those switches online and they are exactly like the little tactile 6 x 6 mm from Radio Sharks, but they are 12 x 12 mm and only .50 cents a pop.

Warp1900, Great job I'm going to RS next week to pick up my supply of RCA connectors and start the transformation. I'm trying to work out the bugs on something right now hopefully I can show it soon.... You know they can be a real pain sometimes. LOL
Really enjoy seeing everybody’s mods ... gets the old ticker going :)

This is great stuff man.

In the first pic, you have a switch on one branch of the Y connector. Did you wire that in, or wire it to another RCA plug? I just got the parts to do this last night.

Thank you Scott,

Yes, I wired that in, I did try an RCA adapter for the switch so I could also swap switches on the fly, but it ended up sticking out way too much. It would have been really cool though.

If you are going to do the Y, depending on the switch you use, you will most likely have to carve inside for it to fit.

Have fun.

Is the switch wired to the RCA/battery adapter, or just directly to the + and - of the Y?

I'm trying to wrap my mind around why (if it's just to the Y, as if you made an RCA switch) the current would go through the atty at all. The shortest path for the current would be just into the switch, and right back to ground, just creating a short.

There is no battery adapter on the Y, it is RCA jack to RCA, jack with the switch in the middle so you make an RCA to 801, 901 or 510 adapter and just plug it on either side of the Y.

Is that what you mean or did I get it all wrong?

Bristow, Ok.
I have looked at this dozens of times and I just can't it figured out. It is so interesting but I just can't figure out what you made and what you bought. I understand the RCA plug part. What are those other things? I hate to show my ignorance like this but I am tired of trying to figure this out on my own.

No ignorance involved here, asking is the best way to go always IMO.

Here are the parts:

1- Phono (RCA) Y-Adapter metal

Phono (RCA) Y-Adapter - RadioShack.com

2- Y-Adapter, Mono Phone Jack to RCA Plugs

Gold Series Audio Y-Adapter, Mono Phone Jack to RCA Plugs - RadioShack.com

3- Mini SPST 1.5-Amp Momentary Pushbutton Switch

Mini SPST 1.5-Amp Momentary Pushbutton Switch (2-Pack) - RadioShack.com

Plug in your 2 atomizers with home made RCA adapters, plug your favorite power source on the other end of the Y and start vaping!

Anything else you want to know just ask me, i will be glad if I can help.
