When will these be back in stock?

I got mine. Of course, I ordered the wrong(shorty) cartos. I didn't open up the hole. I probably should have for the juice I have. So, now I managed to slightly burn the only working carto I have that fits because the juice wasn't feeding fast enough through the tiny holes to keep up with me chain vaping my new toy. I am very pleased with the product. I want a couple more(and some cartos) and now they are out of stock.

My streak of never ordering the right quantity of the right items remains unbroken......

I got my tank today! Its better than I thought it would be. Its smaller than the pictures look and it was super easy to use. I'm going to buy another couple and some replacement carts when the next shipment gets in.

My only problem is using it with my RS. I have the shorty extension on it and its still just barely giving me clearance for the button. I may get another to stack or just keep using it with my ego like I have been.

Either way its the best purchase i've made with madvapes, I reccomend it to everyone.

My first tank and I am definitely liking it. Great price too! It seems to be working just fine with no alterations to the tiny hole. I use an 80/20, PG/VG liquid. If this tank can make a dual coil or 1.7 carto last longer, I will definitely order more. Normally, I use a dual coil 1.5ish-ohm carto on an eGo and get about 2 days of good taste (I know, I'm really picky).

I really don't want to mess around with making a hole in cartos, so I am hoping to see the pre-drilled cartos on MadVapes' site soon. I'd love to see what's going on inside the carto when it's inside a tank. The polyfill on top looks totally dry, but I am getting really good flavor. I filled the tank the other evening and let it sit overnight and was expecting to see wet-looking polyfill when I took a peek after removing the drip tip. I suppose that's because the level of liquid in the tank is below the top of the carto. I just thought maybe the polyfill would wick the liquid up to the top.

Although the drip tip is pretty, it's too big. I couldn't even get it shoved in the carto, so I just used another drip tip I already had. So, if anyone from MadVapes reads this, could you please see what can be done about changing to a proper fitting drip tip with these? If you can't, which drip tip on your site fits best? (I prefer delrin or some kind of plastic rather than metal ones.) I only have a few other "plain-jane" drip tips and don't think any came from MadVapes. If someone can recommend one, I'll include it with my next order. TIA.

Looking forward to seeing more posts about this "better mouse-trap." :toast:

update. got it today and so far its great. a little loose fitting on the bottom end but not leaking at all. I thought the pre-punched carto was too small so I made it bigger, now its vaping great.
All in all, very solid tank. Not like the Lava but good enough.

Thanks MadVapes for another awesome device in a great price .

You guys are all going to find that cartos work a bit different in tanks, if you use a PG juice a small hole is probably fine, if you use a thick VG juice you could probably go 2 holes on opposite sides like I use in my tanks, all depends but its worth experimenting for sure. You will also find out how much longer a carto last while being in a tank as well as they dont have to be so soaking wet through and through to work as well while in a tank and the filler doesn't swell up as quickly while in the tank and go bad.

Thanks for sharing this. I was already wondering about these details regarding holes & liquids. This does mean there could initially be an experimentation phase for some of us.

If the hole needs to be adjusted, we won't know what is correct until we actually try it. The only way to try it is with liquid in the tank. Once liquid is in the tank, removing the carto for another adjustment could be a tad messy.

But hey, we're all hobbyists and this ain't our first rodeo.

JJ :)

Actually a syringe makes it quite easy if you need to drain the tank for an adjustment of some sort Jimmyjet. I also suggest that if you punch a hole in the carto that you put an 18g needle in the center tube first, this just backs up the center tube and also helps the filler material from not getting messed up.

I use a very simple Jig to punch carto's, I take a 6" piece of a 2x4 and drill a 9mm hole in the side of the 2x4 then I drill another pilot hole down from the top ( size depends on your punch ) done deal now you have an inexpensive jig to punch your cato's and get the same hole every time. Also I take my nail set punch and sharpen it to a nice point on my grinder or even a belt sander to make my punch perfect. The metal on carto's is extremely thin and punching them is very easy this way, no need for an expensive jig or even a saddle valve, take 5 min and make this jig and your set !

Thanks for the feedback. Just wondering - anyone tried making holes in the clear cartos? I have a bead reamer (basically an awl covered with diamond dust that is used sometimes when making beads for jewelry if the hole needs a little enlarging) that maybe could be used to make a hole in either the metal or clear cartos. The curiosity in me really wants to see what is going on inside that carto. I'm kinda afraid of punching a carto with a nail or making a hole with a dremel because I don't want to hit the coils or wire inside. I can see the wire and coils sometimes in the clearos and they appear to often be right up against the plastic, instead of buried in deeper closer to the inner tube that goes up through the center.

The filler will only appear wet if you fill the tank above the filler line. Gravitational Water Displacement theory would explain it. In non-jargon words - The liquid will be level both inside and outside of the carto. They will stay at roughly the same level.

These work great on carto's:
Acrylic Drip Tips and are just a tiny bit softer than the delrin ones.
