OK now back to running DC 1.5 Cartos, one thing I would like to see on this tank is the DC carto slip in a bit easier, the tolerance could use a slight adjustment in the caps so the oring does its job.

Edit, I must have gotten one tank that was off a tad and the opening tight, just filled another one and it was fine how the carto went in, or it ws a carto tube that was just milled a tad fat. have to try another carto, either way these are working good

I mostly like Boba's Bounty, which is all VG, no PG. Ordering it with a PG or mixed base isn't an option.

I'm wondering if anyone is using any Alien Visions juice in these tanks, and how well that works? How long does a cartomizer last before it needs to be replaced? Can you wash out and reuse the carto's?

I have 4 tanks from diferent supliers. Didn´t use them anymore for diferent reasons.

Now I got this new smoke tech DC tank.
Wow. no other comes close to it. Ease of use, the special dedicated carto, perfect fit, not too loose or tight. This is how they should have been from the beginning.

This tank is just perfect.

I am just curoius what other tanks you have tried. If you don't feel comfortable naming them here, perhaps you could pm me. I'd like to know the reasons that you don't use them anymore.

I have the liquinator. Too tight, it destroys the orings, and a very bad service of the seller IMO. The DC map tank, its OK, but too small. The J tank and another, dont remember the making. The main problem anyway is that I dont get the right combination between cartos, slotted or punched, some flooding, some who dont feed enough. This new one with the amazing tiny hole, is the best. Just feeds right. And then that tiny little metal ring who keeps the carto on its place, permitting a less tight sealing on the tank, so much easyer to fill, and put a new carto in. I tried myself to punch cartos with a very small hole, and it didn´t work, so I am wondering why it works with the ones they are selling now from smok tech. There must be some kind of a trick.

A few questions:?::Would like to know since this is my first tank experience, how do I know when it's time to get a new tank? What is the usual lifespan of a tank like these? My batteries are a 1000 maH ego passthru & 2 1000maH auto batts. just got 6 of the same 1.5 cartos that came with tanks, so far no problems(once u all got me straightened out:blush:) Could I be getting more flavor or a better vape from a different ohm carto? Is it ok to go to diff ohm cartos with my batts. I read on the site some about ohms and voltage still trying to learn this stuff.

Hi 9CLINE,

With Ego bats, you better keep going on with the 1.5 Ohms. Any other would need a VV mod.
Then you will know when to change the carto, it will produce less vapor, or start to taste weird. After a while, you can just try a new one, and will note the diference.

To get more vapor, you definitly would need a VV mod, wich could give you 3 or more amps.

I'm doing my DC Cartos like this for my DC Tanks, it's working super, score your carto with your dremmel, dont go all the way threw the wall of the carto, just a nice score in the side wall, then take a sewing needle and push & turn it into the score you made, making a needle sized whole in the score, works perfect every carto I have done, even running very thick VG Juices. I make my score 1/16" up from the top of the bottom cap :)
