The new one will be able to handle them. # Ohm cartos are a better vape though. If you moved a couple wires inside the dual carto it would become a 3Ohm carto.
Not trying to hijack the thread, but my question is on the same line - How about the Buzz? Can it run the dual coils at HV?
I didn't want to ask in my general forum thread because I'd probably get you in trouble if you answered.
You'll have to think of a longer word, though. The forum is set up to accept no less than 10 characters as a post. -- I just found that out today when trying to give a guy the simple answer to his question - Just "Yes" was no good for the forum lords. the robot stopped me, told me I was dumb, and then led me down some rabbit hole where I could buy seven more characters <grin>I could just answer YES.
Some people like them but to me they're like using the old 510 atty on the little 510 ecig. I couldn't get any vapor to speak of at any setting. Of course I've been spoiled by the Fusion with it's insane vapor production.
SMOKtech quality 1.5 ohm DUAL COIL Cartomizers. These have been proven to work great with HV vaping as although the effective resistance is 1.5-1.6 ohms, each coil is individually rated at 3.2ohm working in parallel.
510 Dual Coil Mega Cart 1.5 +-.2 ohm, in steel. Dual 3.2 ohm coils in parallel giving a total resistance of approximately 1.6 ohms. These produce great amounts of vapor due to the greater heating area of the dual coils but have less potential to burn due to the higher individual resistance of each coil. Keep them WET! They will burn if you run dry! These hold about 25 drops of e-liquid. New improved filler material is more absorbent. NOTE: Will not work with eGo, 510, 901 or mosfet driven type batteries. The Dual Coil should to be used with 3.7 volt mods with a switch capable of handling 2 or more amps. The Dual Coil work great on 5 and 6 volt devices. Your results may vary and the protection circuits on some batteries at higher voltages may see these as a short and not work.
My understanding is that they are 2 3.2 ohm coils in parallel so in series they would be 6.4 ohms , too high BUT use 2 x 1.5 ohm coils like an LR and put them in series and you get 3 ohms so ???
Or for that matter get Iken to test a 3 ohm long coil type , so use a heavy wire diameter and double the coils , this = more surface area ( he may already be doing this ?? ) say a 34 guage or so Ni=chrome wire
Hes pondering something with the longer coil. Once his two latest projects hit the shelves hell prolly look into it more. Ive also got him pondering a mega size fusion as wellMMMMMMMM Mega fusion would make me very happy

I'm glad to hear that your amp limit is way higher than the other VVs mentioned in the thread. The switches I use are rated to 3 amp and I haven't smoked one of those yet even blasting away at 6.0v.
This leads me to another question. And I can't find the product on your site right now for some reason. You have a short tube to be attached to the atty connector that has VV built in. I looked at it about a week ago and the 510 connector style was out of stock. I can't remember what it was called, but it's your product so I hope you'll know what I'm talking about.
How about that thing? Is there any reason it would be current limited? That might be just as handy to be able to take my 6.0v set up and regulate it down to ~5.5v. It would also put a little buffer between the hot carto and my top mounted switch.
I think a mega fusion would be a great addition to his line as long as the wicking is as good as the regular fusion. I've had problems with the wicking on his Mega KR808's. To me a mega sized carto is a waste if I have to top it off all the time.
Six, thats where the . comes into play. You can't say yes but you can say yes..............You'll have to think of a longer word, though. I am always surprised to see you comparing the DCs to a 510 atty on a little 510 cig -- to me, they are nothing like a 510 at all, closer to a premium/wow 808 carto with more flavor, more vapor and no burning. I run them at 3.7-4.0 on my Buzz with beautiful results: lots of warm, tasty, flavorful vapor with some TH, not too much at this voltage, more (of course) at higher voltages. Of course, I am using 70/30vg. I expect vapor and get it, too. You're running 100 PG (I think?), it may be too much heat for that to make much "smoke" on the DC; the Fusion is probably kinder to the higher PG ratio in the vapor department. The Fusion, IMO, hits much more like a 510 with cooler vape, less TH (mostly none, for me), and, yes, more vapor. Pleasant flavor and pretty clouds, but I have to run it higher to reach the same satisfaction as I do the DC at lower voltage so battery life on the Buzz runs about the same for me with both of these - 4-5 hours. And I have to top off the Fusion waaay more often. I consider myself a medium to heavy vaper, most days.
Wait a second, a Fusion is a 510 on an 801 connection, right? Just tweaked with some IKV love. So it probably should vape more like a 510. And a DC is a ... IDK, a Dual Coil? Currently only available with a 510 connection but that doesn't necessarily make it a 510, so it is its own breed? Doesn't matter. I love them. They have replaced my mega 808s from IKV.
See that's what I mean. That's exactly how I see the DC compared to the megas except in the opposite order. You are right about each to his own because I get the best warmth, flavor, vapor and TH using my Buzz with the dual coils. I used to be a fan of the IKV megas. After using these for 2 weeks I tried one of the megas and it was like breathing in air![]()
