I have recently purchased my very own Lavatube! It is awesome. I love everything about it! The drip tip is easy to use and sleek. As much as i do like the drip tip, I wanted to not have to drip every 10 puffs or so. So I invested in a Dual Coil Tankomizer. I was impressed with the cool design, but was baffled as to how to use it. Youtube i ventured off to and found out how to fill it, and that it needs priming just as if you were going to drip into a new cartomizer. It worked for a bit no problem but once it used up the liquid i used to prime it, it seems that it isn't absorbing any liquid at all. No "auto-refilling" like it's supposed to do. That burning flavor of an empty cart is all i'm tasting. I know i didn't flood the carto, and there isn't any sealing problem. Can someone explain why my tank isn't working right?

It could be from a very thick juice and the hole in the carto is too small. You can enlarge the hole slightly or even slot it with a dremmel tool. PBusardo has a video on u-tube. Do that and reprime the carto. See if the burned taste dissipates. If not, time for a new carto. Search saddle punch, inexpensive way to punch/enlarge carto holes.

I just got my first tank from v4l, the 6ml DCT, and was having a little trouble with a burnt taste so what I did was, and I don't suggest this way u should use a saddle or dremmel if you do, take a hammer and nail to the cart to make one of the holes a little bigger and it has worked like a dream since except it did warp the cart a little so it's a little harder to get it in the cap. I was using a 60vg/40pg mix so it was a little thick but you could try thinning out your juice a little as well.

The tank can be causing a vacuum and not allowing juice into the cartomizer holes...sounds weird but I've had it happen to me with the 3.5ml tanks. The other thing that can cause it is that the holes are not large enough. I always punch mine out a little bigger with a saddle valve. That way I always know that juice can get to the filler...even using 100% vg based juices.
